The Shower was great, however the Bathroom was absolutely freezing as the Heater system had failed! We had an electric blower in the bedroom all the time but only in the bathroom for 24hrs. Parking was easy on the public roads and it was quiet.
Holiday Inn Express is situated next to Sloterdijk train station which offers convenient connections to Amsterdam Central Station and Schiphol Airport.

XO Hotels City Centre is set in 10 monumental townhouses, around the corner from the lively Dam Square and Warmoesstraat area. It offers accommodation with flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms.

I think this is a very nice hotel with good facilities. The staff are extremely courteous. I stayed there with my family for two nights and they also enjoyed their stay.
My only disappointment was that it was not closer to Amsterdam, but perhaps this was something I should have checked out before hand.
We ate in the hotel both nights and really enjoyed the food.
Unfortunately we did not visit Oostzaan so I am unable to make any comments.
