Kaatsheuvel is but a small town that we visit when we go to The Efteling, one of Europe's largest and oldest theme parks.
It is great to spend the entire day there and then stay in Kaatsheuvel so we can rest our feet and have dinner in one of the many bars and restaurants there.

A wonderful place, nice staff, super modern property and rooms, clean, cozy and comfortable. They have a nice restaurant just downstairs but my favorite spot is the bar with the beautiful terrace! In the Terrace there is a playground and a minigolf for the kids. Perfect to relax with the kids! Also, parking is free :) Great value for money!

We took a 4 day break in Netherlands.
We took a 4 day break in Netherlands. Flew into Eindhoven, rented a car and were able to visit Oertijdmuseum (Dinosuar museum), Beekse Bergen safari, Efteling (theme park) and Kids Wonderland (play centre for kids). Kaatsheuvel is a short drive from Tilburg and Eindhoven and a great base to explore the surrounding areas. If we had more time we would have liked to visit Amsterdam which was an hour and a half drive. It rained heavily on our last day, otherwise we may have got to explore Eindhoven on foot.

I have been to this village 3 times now because I love...
I have been to this village 3 times now because I love Yvonne’s Brocante. Her Brocante shop is on the Brabant Brocante Route, so if you are in the market for antiques, then you must stop here. This village is the perfect location for Efteling amusement park as well. We stayed at the GuestHouse Hotel and it was beyond perfect. We could walk to everything. Kaatsheuvel has plenty of shopping and restaurants. Not too big where it is congested and overwhelming, it is just the perfect size. We loved our stay here and would return in a heartbeat. Also, just 10 minutes outside of Kaatsheuvel are the Sand Dunes. It is definitely worth a visit. Right in the middle of lush, green Netherlands are these sand dunes. It is so fascinating!

We loved the Efteling Park However we would recommend going outside Dutch school holidays as some rides had 50 minutes waiting time
Food was fantastic especially the breakfast buffet butthe Efteling cafés are expensive. They do have cheaper meal options like Hot dogs in the park.
They do not have kettel /tea coffee in the room.
The television worked well with extra Efteling channels.
I highly recommend this stay to families with young kids.

Tho we slept only few hours we had a good night rest on those beds! Room good sized, bathroom was beautiful with everything in it to take a relaxing shower! The furniture looks new, i guess the hotel is not that old! We also loved the big windows! Close to Efteling, a good, divers breakfast and we got it for 99 euros, with discount so yeah.....we were happy and will definitely use the hotel again! 🥳 Ohh yeah...worth mentioning...they had Rituals products in the restaurant's bathroom! Wow!
It is a fabulous place to stay. Inside the ambience fits outside. There are two bedrooms and a separate living room. The place is basically in the national park. At the same time the access is perfect since it is at the entrance to the park. Beautiful routes start there. The house is very spacious and comfortable. 7 minutes by car to the center or big market for example Lidl or Efteling. We had a great time!!!
Excellent stay at DreamZzz Bed en Breakfast, the accommodation is very modern, clean, comfortable, has great facilities and decorated to a very high standard. The breakfast was excellent and the host Ron couldn't do enough for you and makes your stay even more pleasant. Great location for efteling which was a short 15min walk, Ron even offered to drive us if we wanted. Highly recommend the property and host.
Marcel is a fantastic host of this B&B. Very comfy bed, really good shower, perfect location for the Efteling. Nice outdoor area for sitting in the summer with a coffee from the coffee machine provided. Superb breakfast, custom made to how you like your eggs. I have no complaints at all! I really look forward to staying again.
All of the appliances, cooking utensils, and dishes necessary to easily prepare and enjoy meals in the home.
Even with the inclement weather, we were able to enjoy the jacuzzi tub.
We used the laundry facilities and the washer and dryer were of nice quality.
The space was ample for 4 adults and our grandson.
A very nice place, breakfast was very good. Chocolate bread and all was delicious. The room is big, the bathroom clean and big too. Beds are confortable. When you arrive you get the key with a code, it’s easy. Many place to eat or buy food near the hotel. 5 minutes from efteling. Personnal is nice and smiling.
Great location and love the store next door so you can go and buy everything you need. If you are going to Efteling you can park your car there for free and walk as it's only a 5-10min walk. The rooms were super trendy and clean and spacious. The outside playground and order drinks was a plus.
Location is excellent, only 15 minutes away from the Efteling by walking! There is a very nice garden behind the apartment we can use which I didn't see from the pictures. The theme of the apartment is fire department and my kid was so fond of that!
The best place I stayed on my entire two-week trip to Europe! Cozy room, fantastic breakfast options, great host, and exceptionally close to the Efteling park. The host went above and beyond in multiple ways to make my stay fantastic.

Nice Hotel near to Efteling. Less then 2 Minuten to walk was an Albert hejn to buy Drinks ans food for the Park. Parking was inclusive and near the Hotel.
