This was unexpected. Definitely a luxury B&B.
It was only for 1 night so I didn't have time to explore the surrounding.
the bungalow (can't call it a room) was very spacious with a lovely deco. It's very cosy.
There is even a nice private garden.
Breakfast is brought to your room and is complete and yummy.
The owners are really nice and make you feel welcome. This despite me asking for some help to bring my motorcycle inside the common garden

Location was amazing. Possibility go for a walk with dog anywhere you want to go. Every single walk was different. Birds are anywhere you look, It is like a paradise if you are not used to seeing countriside like that and listening singing birds on every single step.

Interesting place to stay, because it was a prison before. Good location, you can rent bicycles at the hotel and reach city centre easily. Clean and comfortable rooms.
A great place to stay. It's a bit out of the way from Alkmaar or the local town, but that's what is nice about it. The hotel & restaurant are lovely. The menu is fantastic and the room was decorated nicely. I didn't catch the staff members name, but the chap who asked the kitchen to stay open for us, and ordered us a taxi in the morning was a gent, and all members of staff were polite and helpful.
we arrived quite late and this was no problem at all to the hotel. the room was very nice and clean. The hotel had a glamorous feel, with a gorgeous lobby area and restaurant. The food was excellent, staff very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is very easy to get to, being close to the main road and train station and the big shopping mall.
The last day breakfast that was delivered to my room since I was leaving 5 o'clock, and the vegan meals I had in the evening were excellent- The room was spacy and I got new towels all the time. All staff were very nice, the hotel was closed to my work.
