The room is so cozy, the interior design is absolutely gorgeous, being in that room gives me a good mood. The bathroom has all the things we needed, very modern and clean. The house on the outside looks like a typical Dutch house, but the inside is more modern than quite some hotels.

We enjoyed the unique building, the delicious local breakfast, the tranquil environment and the really friendly hosting from the owners. They’ve put in so much effort to renovate the hotel and it really shows. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the showers were super modern, we loved the decor and the stunning pottery they used to serve everything in was a great extra touch. This is a lovely B&B that we would recommend to everyone, and we definitely see ourselves coming back.

quality of the restaurant was very good
The canal is accessable and peaceful. There are clearly facilities for hiring bikes etc but, as older people, this was not suitable for us. If it had been I would have stayed longer. One of the canalside houses was covered in bunting and the guy decorating the house said it was for his Father's birthday. He was very friendly.
We really enjoyed our stay in wintery Friesland. Cute and cozy little hotel with great breakfast every morning. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Extra long beds are a plus.
Burdaard is a quiet little place from where you can start your explorations in no time.
Would definitely recommend it posthus and hopefully come back some time. Thank you for the great time, we will happily think back to it :)
