The hotel itself is situated in a very beautiful area outside of Utrecht, I stayed during a cycle trip and found the cafe bar to be great for a place to relax, read my book and enjoy an evening meal. The breakfast was great too and the staff prepared me some warm gluten free bread which i greatly appreciated.

The hotel had ample car parking and is excellently situated on a main bus route into Utrecht with a choice of several buses, the rooms are more than adequate and there is a nice bar area.
With its waterfront location, this hotel offers views of the old De Bilt fortress. Use of the spa facilities, fitness area and swimming pool is free of charge.

Fantastic staff in bar, at reception and in housekeeing. They could not have been more helpful. The bedroom was very large and spacious. The view and sounds of nature from the bedroom were amazing.
Having breakfast at the Stayokay - Bunnik is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Not only you have plenty of different options to choose from to start your day, but the staff gets creative from time to time (for instance, by offering Halloween-related dishes).
If you want to take a long, relaxing hike, look no further: Stayokay - Bunnik is a perfect place to walk your family and friends around.
But above all things, the staff is always here for you, providing the kind assistance you need to face unplanned events or any kind of daily issues.
It’s surrendered by a lot of nature. I walked from stayokay Utrecht centrum (that’s a hostel I do not recommend to anyone) to Utrecht Bunnik and the walk to the hostel was really enjoyable. It took about 1 hour and 10 minutes but it was really worthy.
The beds are in better shape than the ones in Utrecht central, roommates were also nicer, staff also very helpful and polite and the breakfast was also decent. It’s definitely a nice place to visit.

This is a relatively large hotel and at the time we were there, there were not too many people staying so it wasn't busy. The basic room was airy and had zircon if you needed it. I can't sleep with zircon on so slept with the window open.
Location is easy to find and easily accessible.
Breakfast is excellent with plenty of hot and cold choice. Evening food was good too.
Nice staff, friendly attitude, even in the hotel restaurant, went for couple of drinks - took longer that we are used to, but nothing horrible.
Two rooms we had were close together
We had a 🐶 with us, we were offered water and everything, there is nice lawn around the hotel and possibility to go on a walk.

The location is fantastic if you want to live 15 minutes bus ride out of Utrecht, and you are in the Dutch countryside. The air is clean and refreshing, the staff is friendly and the breakfast has a wide selection of hams, cheeses, and cereals. Highly highly recommended for solo travelers and young travel buddies.
We were happy to return to the Postillion Hotel Utrecht. Highly professional personnel, perfect location near the highway, an excellent restaurant with quality meals, free car parking. No doubt, we will return to this hotel over and over again.

this was an oasis from the urban environment, but still very close to Utrecht. we loved renting bicycles to go into Utrecht and enjoy the woods. Beautiful grounds and great breakfast too!
