Berg en Terblijt was perfect for our visit to Maastricht,...
Berg en Terblijt was perfect for our visit to Maastricht, with a 15 minute drive to the Park & Ride for the shuttle bus to the city centre at a very reasonable cost. Maastricht is a great place to visit but we came for the Andre Rieu concert and did not have time to explore the city this time. The pretty town of Valkenburg is very close where we had a delicious meal. There are at least two streets in Valkenburg lined with restaurants offering food from all parts of the globe. For self-catering, the well-equipped supermarket in Berg en Terblijt sells all you need.

It's away from Maastricht by 7 km.
It's away from Maastricht by 7 km. If the purpose of your travel is to explore Maastricht then I wouldn't suggest a stay here. Public transportation is scanty and expensive. If you want to unwind and be with nature this is the perfect place.

The hotel is small and cozy, the location is great (it is between Valkenburg and Maastricht so you can visit both cities very easy), the hospitality of the owners is amazing and the breakfast is also good. We were greeted and served by the owners every morning. They have a big beautiful garden with rabbit and fishes for kids to enjoyed.
This hotel has a very original vibe, people running the hotel are super nice and friendly. We visited the hotel coming by bus from Maastricht and that worked well. We found a place for dinner close by with a short walk to green environment of the hotel, very nice! Great breakfast.
Lovely room with en-suite bathroom. Quiet location. Excellent breakfast with diverse choices. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Gave great tips of sights to visit around there. Parking within hotel premises
We had an amazing stay. Felt very much welcomed by the kind owners, who ran the extra mile. It's a cozy, friendly, relaxed hotel to stay, with a lovely garden to sit back and relax. Would recommend.
Very friendly owner and staff! The room was very comfortable and it was a nice, quiet stay. A positive point was also the free parking place close to the hotel. Breakfast was great as well!
