The house is huge, the neighborhood is very nice, kids out and playing until late, and it is a 20 minute walk to the main square of Leon. (There's also a c$6 bus that stops outside the front door, and taxis are about c$50). You get a look into parts of the town that are not the center.
Breakfast was excellent and varied, and the Wi-Fi clocked in at 50Mbps so easily fast enough for Zoom calls and the like.
If you have an oversized vehicle, there is a secured lot around the corner (in front of the basketball court) that charges c$30/day. The on-site garage will handle regular vehicles.

We like the slightly out of town locations as it is quiet and we need secure motorcycle parking. It was quiet and whilst the bikes were off the road, they were not as secure as we would have liked - that said, it was a nice neighbourhood.
The room was very clean and we loved the outside toilet/shower - quirky but really functional. No hot water but certainly warm enough.
No AC but the fan/s were more than enough for a comfortable night. Mosquitto net over the bed.
Good hanging space and shelves.
Pool was very very nice. Bungalows are hidden from each other with great landscaping.

The location is great!
El convento is a quiet place and very nice to just sip your coffee in the morning before heading out. The staff has been very helpful when I arrived at 9 pm hurt after a descent of a volcano at sunset. Many thanks!
