This was a perfect stay for the first days in Namibia. Staff were very friendly and worked very hard. Room was great and actually everything was more beautiful in real than in the pictures online so that was a great surprise. They had morning and evening activities to book and we booked three, all very good ones. I dont like animals at the zoo, in cages. But this sanctuary for the Cheetah was big and it felt like they had a good life there. It was cool to be able to stroke them as they had become domesticated. The sunset safari in the private game reserve was amazing too. A shorter tour but we got the chance to see rhinos walking next to the car.

It was very convenient for travelling through as was close to the freeway and just out of town. It was a little green oasis with beautiful gardens and an avenue of trees as one arrived . We loved the sunset against the trees and the lights on the trees at night. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and they served a nice breakfast. The buildings and room had been recently renovated. The room was clean, modern, comfortable and very spacious with a desk and coffee station and fridge, and a lovely patio area.

The hotel is a good place to stay, near mariental if so not stay at anib safari lodge. Near mariental there is nothing, also to do, except what I have written and it costs less (much more) than anib. You can go there for excursions, then (it's 30km away). Moreover, here you will find an amazing cat, Perseo the young
The Guesthouse has so much going for it. But the biggest plus was the security. The beds were soft but comfy and the rooms were clean. The location was perfect, just off the main road going through Mariental. The staff were amazing, but a shout out to Manfred who looked after us exceptionally well!!
BEST VALUE FOR MONEY BY FAR. Johan is super friendly and helpful. The rooms were very well equipped and we had a very good rest. I would easily pay double the rate for what we received. The location is also good considering Mariental is a bit of a developing city.
The town is small and we were traveling out of season so the hotel was not busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had all we needed for our quick 1 night stay. We were able to get dinner at the bar area and relax after a long day of traveling.
A repeat visit, perfect stopover point located in the irrigation farm area below Hardap Dam just outside Mariental.
Fantastic shower, comfortable beds, beautiful green, peaceful garden and wonderful hosts, you couldn't ask for more.
