Quiet , peaceful, simple lifestyle like back to 80th feels as walking in the city centre.
Sibu market is the best place to explore, so many things to see .Night market so much food to taste at very reasonable prices.
River cruise is a must. Sibu has such beautiful sunset!

Sibu is the best place for good foo chow food. It is a food haven for a foodie like me. Unlike Kuching, you may not get the chain restaurant like Mcdonalds, Starbucks, etc., as easily as you'll like. But there is definitely good local food to try everywhere in Sibu. If you are looking for sightseeing places, it will be best to travel a little further out of Sibu for beach, and hiking places like Kapit. In Sibu itself, there are a few sightseeing places which can be completed within one day.

Sibu is a big city in Sarawak. This is my first time ever travel to Sibu. 32 minutes away from Airport Sibu to the Sibu's town..Not that hard to find Halal restaurant there, just google! Try Rafie Cafe! We experienced ate fresh durians as well in Kampung Nangka. The local simply could noticed us since we are from Semenanjung or they called us Malaya people..so cute! For this trip, although we have a meeting in Sibu & Sarikei, we managed went to 4 shopping malls, 3 bakery's and few restaurants. In future, we plan to go to their culture and nature places. Sibu..wait for us!! :)

We'd spent our night at the open area called Dataran Tuanku...
We'd spent our night at the open area called Dataran Tuanku Bujang. They were people same as us walking and enjoying the night life. There were also some cyclist have a break there. In the morning, we went for flower shopping. The florist wasn't that friendly. We spent our morning by having a good breakfast at a foodcourt called farley foodcourt.

The owner + cleaner is very friendly & helpful. At first we are not orientated to the hotel environment but he kindly guide us through call & WA. I did request for new room at 1st floor(originally given at 2nd floor) because I bring my parents age 60+, he responded very fast & by the afternoon we move out to the new room. Full privacy in the room though almost every corner outside the room is under CCTV operation. 5 star to the free Wifi. We like room A6 very much, recommended for family trip.
Great hotel right in the center of the action. The street noise didn’t bother me; it was actually soothing and it was nice to have the night market right outside the front door. Everything was in wonderful walking distance from the hotel. Me. Tie is an exceptionally gracious and accommodating host. Delicious restaurants and food stalls close by.
Its a wonderful family trip 🥰🥰 This is our first time went to sibu. The homestay was probably super nice and condusived. All was excellent and super cleaned. The owner was very kind , friendly and helpful. We enjoy the staycation. Definitely will stay again if we go to Sibu
