Quiet , peaceful, simple lifestyle like back to 80th feels as walking in the city centre.
Sibu market is the best place to explore, so many things to see .Night market so much food to taste at very reasonable prices.
River cruise is a must. Sibu has such beautiful sunset!

Sibu is the best place for good foo chow food. It is a food haven for a foodie like me. Unlike Kuching, you may not get the chain restaurant like Mcdonalds, Starbucks, etc., as easily as you'll like. But there is definitely good local food to try everywhere in Sibu. If you are looking for sightseeing places, it will be best to travel a little further out of Sibu for beach, and hiking places like Kapit. In Sibu itself, there are a few sightseeing places which can be completed within one day.

Sibu is a big city in Sarawak. This is my first time ever travel to Sibu. 32 minutes away from Airport Sibu to the Sibu's town..Not that hard to find Halal restaurant there, just google! Try Rafie Cafe! We experienced ate fresh durians as well in Kampung Nangka. The local simply could noticed us since we are from Semenanjung or they called us Malaya people..so cute! For this trip, although we have a meeting in Sibu & Sarikei, we managed went to 4 shopping malls, 3 bakery's and few restaurants. In future, we plan to go to their culture and nature places. Sibu..wait for us!! :)

We'd spent our night at the open area called Dataran Tuanku Bujang. They were people same as us walking and enjoying the night life. There were also some cyclist have a break there. In the morning, we went for flower shopping. The florist wasn't that friendly. We spent our morning by having a good breakfast at a foodcourt called farley foodcourt.

This is one of the best hotel you can get at this price rate in Sibu. Mine was RM130 for a single and queen. (4 of us, me, my waifu and 2 kids)
It is very close to Star Megamall, the busiest mall in Sibu. Enough parking space. The room is very clean. Everything is packed in the room for extra hygiene. TV channel is suffice. Internet is good as they have individual modem in each room. (I think)
Best place to crush if you are staying for a night to continue your long journey! (Mine was from Bintulu - Sibu - Kuching)
The kind of hotel that I prefer. It's conveniently small and fit necessary things like kettle, hair dryer, air cond, tv, functioning water heater, comfy bed and pillow and slipper in the washroom. I have no complain. There's also mini store on the ground floor. Definitely worth the RM.
I do want to return and recommend the place so please maintain it.

The owner is very informative and thoughtful. The instruction he gv is very detail that make my stay feel like home... Easy check in and check out. The apartment is located at the side of Star Megamall.. Hv eatery place down stair (very tasty)... The place is very quite during the night. All the appliances and furniture is great and new.. Cleanliness 5 stars.. Love3 the place very much!!
The location is so strategic, lot of place to eat nearby the hotel..surprisingly that area hv a lot of pubs and luckily our room (family suite) is the center of the block and no window facing ourside so we cannot hear noisy sound from nearby pubs..
The facilities provided are great.Spacious room for a twin bed. The receptionist staff & housekeeping staff were very accommodating. A small cabinet to hang clothes would definitely be great especially those who plan to stay for a longer period.
We love everything about the house. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Every room so comfortable. The garden in so nice. Hassle free check in and check out. Thank you host for allowing us to check out a little bit late.
Parking was easy at the front of the hotel. Wifi signal was strong. Safe is available in the room. Smart TV is available in the room - can watch YouTube, Netflix, etc.
