This is by far the worst hotel we have stayed in - 11 weeks of traveling Asia - we had room 308 that faced the road for 2 nights we got no sleep there is no soundproofing in the room - the bar across the road “Borneo rednecks” has a live rock band they played both evenings extremely loud music - everytime the door opened the noise was worse - with screaming shouting drum set at full noise - this went on until 3.30 each morning we managed to get to sleep at gone 4am - the hotel did not care less they said they were at full capacity - the first night there was a birthday party at the bar so we assumed it would be a one off noise wise - it was not - despite going to reception at 2 am the porter said that not everyone complains but most do- so why would you rent these rooms knowing the guests will get zero sleep ??? - this is negligent on behalf of the hotel they should make guests aware at check in about the noise - if you value your sleep avoid this hotel !! Despite contacting the hotel general manager 3 times she has not responded to any communication
