The hotel is located slightly deeper from the main road where the shops are. Walking to the main road maybe not advised especially at night as it is far and dark. Good if u have your own transportation. This place is near to the premium outlet / cable car.Shuttle services to the cable care is available from the hotel but it is RM30/ride. The room was very clean and well equipped with all the basic amenities such kettle, iron, hair dryer, personal care items etc.The TV has basic local channels… when I checked in the hand bidet was leaking badly and when I informed the staff they quickly got it fixed and even gave me a complimentary fruit platter for the hassle. Check in and out was smooth. The Wifi was good. We had a conference in the mezzanine level. Medium sized hall with good lighting and maintenance.

We stayed at Geo Resorts for a few days during our week-long trip to Malaysia. The resort is ideally located if you prefer a quieter setting away from the busy Sky Avenue, and parking is readily available. Several local restaurants and a 7-11 are conveniently located near the hotel. . Be sure to take the Awana Skyway ride if you're visiting Genting Highlands, and don't miss exploring Sky Avenue at the summit.

It was a bit crazy trying to drive to Genting highlands people drive crazy and to fast , the road is very curvy and steep , the signage is a little confusing and it’s easy to get lost so just have a little extra time to get to your destination, the weather was lovely , on the cool side so take a jumper , lots of amazing shopping and food
If staying at the hotels make sure you book in advance and bring your passport for self check in
If your going to SkyWorlds outdoor theme park check before you buy your tickets which rides are currently being refurbished

We made the mistake of visiting at peak time between Xmas...
We made the mistake of visiting at peak time between Xmas and New Year, meaning that we had to queue for everything, sometimes up to 1.5 hours for either the Gondola or the main attractions for the kids. Finding your way around the first day is challenging, especially in the Sky World Theme Park area. The Gondola ride is fun and some of the rides awesome if you can handle the queues. The Premium Outlet mall was actually disappointing and we did most of our shopping at Sky World where prices were only slightly higher but goods better quality. Food was generally bland and disappointing. The good places that we did enjoy were the Thai Restaurant (for spice) and O'Briens (for healthy food with good service). Five Guys burgers were popular with the kids. Avoid the western type restaurants on the top level. The atmosphere is great but the food ordinary.

It's a good place to visit.
It's a good place to visit. I would recommend going up the gondola/skyscraper early morning to best the queue and have breakfast up top. The bottom of Genting Islands does not have much choice in regards to breakfast/food in general.
The area is nice and cool in terms of temperature and cleanness. If you're into theme parks book an extra day to make full fun day

Genting Highlands now has many places and restaurants to explore apart from casinos. The entertainments and restaurants now cater to all ages which is great especially for families with kids or elderly. Overall a great place for a short trip.

The check-in was a headache.
The check-in was a headache. The system was not very user-friendly and there was only a staff around to assist the huge crowd. The room has no wardrobes and not enough table-tops to place our belongings.

It was the worst hotel ever.
It was the worst hotel ever. First they gave us a different room than the one we booked. It was very bad and dirty. The bathroom was disgusting the sink the walls even the water hose was covered with dirt. The windows had moss and fungus on them. Insects were everywhere on the bed even inside the tea kettle. The parking was far from our building we had to go through a maze to reach it. No chairs on the balcony to sit on. Sofas are horrible and not comfortable at all. We got allergy and rash because of the dirty towels and bed sheets. It was a nightmare.

Grand Ion Genting Highlands was beyond our highest hopes! This hotel is a real gem, tucked away amid Genting Highlands' magnificent mountains. Our room's expansive views were just stunning, providing a tranquil place from the bustling below. We enjoyed fine meals at the hotel's restaurant and unwinding with a drink at the bar while taking in the peaceful ambiance of the sun terrace and garden. Our small ones were occupied for hours on end by the playground, and we felt secure knowing that everyone was safe.
Spacious room, clean pillows & bed sheet, nice thick comfortable pillows not like mostly hotel.
nice 60" TV with quality audio, even listen to radio with low volume.
nice corridor with kid swimming pool, tree & hill view, also can hear like waterfall sound.
not to mention the friendliness of the receptionist.
decide to stay in room with only take a cup of tea for breakfast until check out, just to enjoy the calm & peacefullness.
will come back bcause not so far, hopefully nothing change.
The hotel is attached to the mall, easy access to shopping complex, skytropolis theme park and awana skyway. Nice self check in and self check out machine. Easy to find food, got water dispenser (don't know whether it works or not but saw it at the hotel). Quite ok for a one-night stay since our main reason was only to play rides at the theme park. Got hairdryer, mini fridge and kettle provided, and also water heater for shower and sink.
Good location - walking distance from the bus terminal.
Swift service - we checked in after 4pm. There was a long queue and confusion at the lobby of First World Hotel where people were trying to check in. At Skyworlds, check-in took less than 5 mins.
Room - spacious and has everything we need for a short stay. Would be better if Singapore's Ch 8, U and 5 are available on the TV.
WIFI - signal was strong, quick connection.
Clean, spacious, comfy, great breakfast! Worth the price.I want to send my gratitude to Mr.Andy n Mr.Karim, they were being so helpful on my booking and everything went very smooth without any delay from their side. Most recommended hotel it is my second time for chosing this hotel and wll alwiz book this hotel when visit genting.
We had been to Awana before it became part of the Resorts World Genting Group (back in 2014). We had fond memories from back then and wanted to experience the new version. It was not disappointing at all. As always, staff are amazing. Food options are fantastic. Heated swimming pool and the pool by the bar is best
It is brilliant! The location is very close to Genting Highlands. Room is very clean and very new.
The road leading to the place is beautiful in the morning, a sea of clouds driving out to Genting Resort.
The room, is excellent and clean.
Good location to find food restaurants, to GPO and to genting highlands. Nice views, house is clean and tidy, and it was like same as stay at your own house. Recommended and I will come back again if next time I visit genting.
The hotel looks new and so it has a nice modern feel to it. It was only a short drive from Genting Outlet and the theme parks so in terms of distance to places of interest for us this was great. We didn't mind the short drive.
The hotel room is spacious which is a plus point for me and the location is convenient for me to move around in Genting Highlands, check in is through kiosk which is definitely more convenient for me compared to queuing up.
The location is good and value to stay for weekend getaway in Genting. If the hotel can provide will a point added for the whole stay with them. The hotel location is good near to the first world plaza and the theme park.
clean , location, staff
although it’s a bit far from the theme park and the casino, the area around the hotel is amazing. it is 10 minutes driving to the outlet where you can take the cable car and go up to the skyway
Location — while it is 20-30 mins away from the Genting Highlands main area, it is located in a lively market. Also, the room was good - spacious and appealing. (So depends, for some people, location may not work)
1. The hotel is newly built.
2. Hotel has a modern renovation.
3. Hotel has a heated swimming pool.
4. Value for money compared to 1st W Hotel.
5. Short driving distance from Hotel to Genting Sky Avenue.
Spacious room, good beds.
Easy check-in.
Just opposite SkyWorlds and walking distance to other attractions.
Parking is near and convenient at Resort Hotel parking.
Overall the place is clean and what i like about the residences/hotel it has playground for toddlers. The sky deck and swimming pool is pretty and spacious.
