A combination of traditions, local arts, modern art, local people and tourists, philanthropists, very old structures from about 500 years ago, a beautiful downtown, very good energy, and many other things, all in a city built inside a circle of tall hills.

Beautiful town.
Beautiful town. Lots of walking with hills and steps in high elevation 6,200 ft (1,900 m). Pricey town almost like a Mexico beach resort. Lots of nice shopping and excellent restaurants. Enjoyed the archaeological tour to Canada de la Virgen. Car is not necessary and parking is tough but not impossible. Many public lots and be prepared to pay 150-200 MX/day. Booking.com offers excellent tours at reasonable prices to see the full area. Wineries, thermal pools, Archaeological site. We found some excellent vegan/vegetarian restaurants like Don Tacos y Tequila, Soltribe and La Cabra Iluminatda. Some of the best vegan anywhere! Buena suerte! Enjoy.

The place was spacious and charming.
The place was spacious and charming. The portable ac unit should be properly mounted outside. I knew what I was doing so I opened the window and closed the window around the venting slightly and closed the drapes around it allowing for most of the air to escape outside. Not the most efficient method but it worked. There are no electrical outlets near the night stand.?this wold be required for anyone with a medical sleep aid such as a clap machine. Luckily I had a battery pack. Overs the place is charming for days!. There an absolute gem if a restaurant right out the
Door and then turn keft at the end of the street

It was beautiful and the people were extremely helpful and friendly. It was very difficult to walk on the stone streets and sidewalks. There was no handicapped accessibility anywhere that I was and I am old!!
All the restaurants were excellent: Los Milagros, Mama Mia, and Heche de Mexico. Taxis were plentiful and not expensive. English was spoken everywhere (but I went to learn Spanish- ha!)The hospital (MAC) and staff were excellent. I would highly recommend the school Academia de Espanol Americana.

Great vacation spot.
Great vacation spot. Unfortunately had to take 2 planes and an almost 2 hour car ride to get there and back, but it’s worth the travel time. 3 days is perfect to experience the city not counting travel days. Additional days are needed if you want to take out of town trips. Be sure to visit the Toy museum.

The room was large, the common area was large, comfortable and welcoming, and it is only a five minute walk from the central churches and market. There is a three hundred year old well right in the house with a rope and pulley and everything. We cooked a number of meals in the kitchen. The cleaning lady spent well over two hours every day scrubbing everything so it's probably the cleanest place we've ever stayed. Would recommend 100% and we would gladly stay here again any time we come back to San Miguel de Allende.
Jorge was so welcoming and inviting to the property. He greeted us at the door at check in, showed us around the property, walked us to our room, explained the history of the property, and gave us some great recommendations.
The property is beautiful. It is on a pedestrian street only, so it's very quiet. The nature and decor were both so beautiful. It has to be the best boutique hotel in the city. Breakfast was served with the stay and included. The enchiladas are some of the best I've had.
Our favorite part was how convenient this hotel was to the downtown area. It takes just a few min to walk to the main square! We were close to the best restaurants and nightlife. The suite itself couldn’t have been better, the decor was to die for, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was perfect and our balcony really topped it off. We had the best view overlooking a couple churches!
The breakfast was beyond all expectations. Tried several different meals ranging from delicious organic oatmeal with fruit, nuts, and honey to very favorable chicken tamales and green or red Chiliquiles . The luxury hotel has an incredible history and the rooms tell their story. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and the location can't be beat.
Literally everything! It’s an amazing new boutique hotel in the very center of SMA but without the noise. the room was so clean and beautiful as the whole property. the restaurant is in a beautiful terrace, the food and cocktails were great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. would recommend this place a 100%!
The location is very nice, the rooms are comfortable and beautiful. Unfortunately, the hotel has no restaurant so it's necessary to go to the city center to eat or buy food or water. The staff was really nice.
The pool is nice but very cold.
The distance from the hotel to downtown is around 12 minutes.
Gorgeous property and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk around. Every space of Casamada boutique hotel is designed to perfection. High quality rooms, and high quality service. Also, the staff and food are top notch. Every morning we had breakfast made from scratch and it was delicious.
Everything! Karla, Guillermo and the staff were excellent. They got a doctor for my husband, and recommended lovely dining and shopping.
We had coffee and juice in our room and breakfast in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. We could access the Rosewood luxury facilities.
It’s all you can ask for right in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. Our expectations were high and they were fulfilled, the hotel is small but practical, great breakfast and terrace ambience. Without doubt, we would stay here again.
Great service, very hospitable. The well kept gardens, warm pool, the breakfasts included, the walking distance to the downtown life, makes Hacienda de las Flores a great stay. The service given by Miss Estela Nolasco was excellent.
Beautiful small boutique hotel right in the center of town - BEST pillows and bed! No restaurant on site but there is a Greek restaurant alongside the hotel. Great value, super cute, would definitely stay there again.
Very charming boutique hotel with a very nice and large pool where you can properly swim. The surrounding of the pool are beautiful and it is very calm. I really recommend this hotel, for me the best in San Miguel
This is a clean hotel, quiet, not too far from downtown.
The staff is lovely and always helpful. But there’s only so much they can do.
The location is ok if you don’t mind a 15 min walk uphill from downtown.
The location was superior! close to everything in San Miguel Downtown.
The view from the balcony direct to the main church was great.
The roofbar was also pretty amazing, great views from the top!
This is a very cute little place with a few rooms in a back yard, very centrally located yet charmingly quiet in San Miguel de Allende. Check in went smoothly, and the staff was always friendly.
an autentical mexican hotel, we had two bathrooms in the same room, they also have a parking lot that was very amazing for us, it is not so far from the downtown (around 10 minutes walking).
