The property and details of this Hacienda are absolutely stunning. Shoutout to Jesus and the amazing kitchen staff who went out of their way in their hospitality. The dinner we had was pricey, but the flavors made up for it. Carlos, Lety and Enna were excellent hosts and made us feel like we were family for the time we stayed with them. The dinners and breakfasts we ate there were very good. They even helped us with learning our Spanish. When we needed to leave early at 5:30am for birding, they got up to open the gate. The rooms are lovely, everything worked. The pool and outside areas are also very nice. I would recommend this place if you want a quiet place away from the hussle and bussle of Merida.

All accommodations are suites, and our suite of rooms was huge, furnished with antiques, overlooking gardens. It was a good value. The bathroom and shower were exceptionally nice. The grounds are pretty, and the breakfast was made to order, ample, and delicious. It is sometimes possible to get a nice dinner here if arranged ahead, for a fair price. Adequate cooling system. Plenty of parking. Friendly hosts. Netflix. You can even bring a pet.
