The location is the best. Top restaurants right outside the hotel. The property felt more like a private condo than a hotel.

I stayed in this casita for 2 weeks while traveling alone and I have never encountered such incredible, warm, helpful staff. By the time I left, they felt like family! I also got to meet the property owner and get to learn his story of how he and his wife built the property 25 years ago - very inspiring! I will definitely be back!

Based on only 2 days in Loreto, we enjoyed the central plaza with its old church, great dining opportunities - we tried Mi Loreto and Mita Gourmet. Also took a boat tour around Coronado Island - highly recommended. Charming ambience, friendly people.

Small town, very friendly and helpful people.
Small town, very friendly and helpful people. Lots of tour vendors and shops, but no one is pushy. Walked about 20 minutes away from tourist area to a very good restaurant - Domingo's. Worth the walk. Easy to find, felt safe all the way.

After a couple of days there, we looked up crime statistics.
After a couple of days there, we looked up crime statistics. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the average number of crimes committed in the city was almost none! We walked home at night, since everything was within walking distance, stopped and had tacos from vendors on the streets. It was the most peaceful place, we’ve already booked our return trip in July.

Loreto surpassed our expectations.
Loreto surpassed our expectations. The scenery to and into Loreto is breathtaking. The scenery to the San Javier mission is stunning. The 17th century mission and it's history is well worth travelling to see. Loreto was worth the 4.5 hour drive from La Paz, where we are living for six months. We will definitely return to hike the Mesquite Canyon trail and take a trip to isle of Coronado to see the see lions and birds. Not a big snorkeler, but relaxing on the beach will be ok for me. We wanted to extend our visit for an extra day, but we forgot my husband's medication.

My situation might be a little different than most travelers...
My situation might be a little different than most travelers because I drove down from Calif with friends that live in Loreto and who knew the best places to go, so everywhere I went with them was great. Favorite bar and margarita at Vics. Pablano for tacos. All the restaurants around the Mission are very good. Coffee, sodas and water are expensive often as much as the main course. There are many renovations and improvements to the historic Mission district in Loreto on-going. The beach adjacent to the lighthouse is wonderful and the esplanade along the waterfront is very nice to walk. Great airport, very small, but very nice.

If you are not into fishing a long weekend would do.
If you are not into fishing a long weekend would do. It is a small town and can be expensive, but not as expensive as Cabo. We went for six days and it was our first time. There are tours also, but pricey. We walked around town and took the San Javier Mission tour and the Coronado island tour. Had a good time. People in Loreto were very friendly and at no time did we fear for our safety. We will go back again. Gods willing.
We had a large apartment with separate one bedroom and a huge bathroom. Lots of storage and big windows with a view across the street to the sea. The property was very attractive with common seating areas as well as patios private for each unit. The staff was very friendly and the property spotlessly clean. The kitchen has a six burner gas stove which we enjoyed because we love to cook. It has basic dishes and pots. Lots of fresh towels were provided. We were in easy walking distance of all the features of wonderful Loreto.
Simple but very clean room, hot water. The view incredibly beautiful. I loved the hammocks outside the room, as well as the chairs facing the sea. The buffet dinner is good, but what is delicious and included is breakfast. The waiters and the frontdesk guys and the security guard were very friendly. Who I believe is the owner of the hotel, very friendly too. Something incredible "The boss" a beautiful collie dog making sure everything was okay
The views!!! The location!! We were Loreto first-timers & we were blown away. A quiet little boutique hotel at the far end of the Malecon made for a relaxing & enjoyable stay. Check in was easy, the staff made sure we had everything we needed & checked in frequently without being obtrusive. Lovely coffee shop adjacent to the hotel, secure parking area on-site, and laundry available. Overall, we were very pleased.
location is great, room we stayed in with a refrigerator and table is a decent size but not updated, paid considerably more for it than other rooms that have been significantly updated. Dinners were nice, fair amounts of food, very few patrons so food service was generally good, they ran out of several food items on "Italian Night), Hotel staff was always friendly even when unable to help or answer questions
A lovely little hotel. Mariana from the office was wonderful. Very helpful!
An easy walk into the center of town as well as to the Malacon. We bought a kilo of lobster one morning from a salesman who came around. We barbecued them that evening and the next day made quesadillas with the leftovers.
The hotel was immaculate, well-designed and felt intimate. The best part of the stay was the service provided by the manager, Alejandro, who was friendly, accommodating & capable. He helped with a couple of requests which he clearly went of his way to assist with.
Very clean comfortable apartment.
Right beside the main walking street and museum. Nice 5 minute walk to the ocean and Malecon.
It's on one of the busier streets in Loreto but the bedroom is in the back so it's fairly quiet.
Staff was very helpful.
Perfect location on the main walking street in Loreto.
Super convenient and quiet at night with nice live music from the nearby restaurant in the evenings.
Very comfortable and clean, brand new apartment.
The location was literally on the plaza. We were there for the Dias de Los Angelitos. There was a full breakfast served in their patio area. Loreto is a beautiful town and the hotel is on the heart of it.
The location was on the busiest corner in Loreto. The traffic noise was brutal, all day all night noise. This alone will keep me from staying there again. Several sleepless nights.
The place was very artsy, nicely decorated, spacious, and comfortable. It wasn't far from the center of Loreto. It felt safe. WIFI was not always reliable.
