Colibri hotel and El Rinconcito hotel are abutted together and offer a funky, friendly vibe. They offer a couple of bars and a great restaurant on the beach. The beach is so long and wide and beautiful and really under developed, so nice to see. There is an eco-turtle release area just north on the beach, and we got to see a release and a biologist gave us a nice talk about the turtles in this area.

Everything was wonderful! The beds were comfortable, the location is amazing. There is a lot to do around the resort. You can hike to a waterfall, go on a horseback ride, go swimming, relax on the beach, or take a hike. Very clean and accommodating facilities. The breakfast was wonderful every morning and the staff was really nice.

Location is great, 5 min. walk from the pier. We met the owner of the home at the pier and she walked us over. Place was super clean, beds were comfortable, shower is nice and hot, I would definitely recommend this place.

The location is across the river from the main part of town. We crossed a bridge made of wood planks to get across the river. The "street" was really more of a walking path that dirt bikes and 4 wheelers could access. The room had an amazing balcony that looks over the river towards the small town. We could just barely see the beach as well. We loved to prepare meals, drinks, and coffee in the well equipped kitchen and then enjoy it on the porch as we watched the birds.
The street/path becomes the trail that leads to Colomitos beach and the amazing beaches beyond. If you want to spend your days hiking to beaches and waterfalls then this is the spot!
