I had a room with balcony and sea view and highly recommended. You can sleep with the sound of the ocean and watch beautiful sunsets. They clean the room every day and provide fresh towels for the beach. Staff is very kind and supportive. The double bed is big. You have also big wardrobe and fridge which is very useful. They respond on WhatsApp which helps and arrange also the speed boat.
You also have sunbeds you can use for free at the private beach.
Set in Dhiffushi in the Kaafu Atoll region, Nirili Villa has a garden. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Dhiffushi Beach is 700 metres away.

Everything about our stay was perfect... from food to the excursions. Best hotel on the Island in our opinion. Perfect balance of local vibe with a homely feel. Amazing stay, would 100% recommend.

Not new, but authentic and clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff, always ready to help to make us feel at home. The food is really tasty, the chefs work great! On the occasion of my son's birthday, we even received a surprise - a very tasty cake! THANK YOU guys for this and good luck!
Beautiful local island, 40 minutes for Malé airport.
Beautiful local island, 40 minutes for Malé airport.
Stunning beaches around the whole island. Able to rent sun loungers and umbrellas at a few locations.
Friendly locals.
Lots of restaurants around the island, serving nice food!
To note - no alcohol allowed on the island and wear modest clothing around the island to respect the locals on the island.

Dhiffushi is a local island meaning people live and work there and not just designed for tourists. The transfer to and from the airport by speed boat is around 40 mins and we thought the cost was expensive. If you have 3 hours to spare there is a local ferry once most days BUT check times and dates .this ferry is VERY cheap!
Our hotel was beach front to a small "bikini beach" which means bikinis ARE permitted On the public beaches they are not allowed. There were enough restaurants near by to make the eating out a good experience.
If you are fit you could easily walk around the island . Snorkelling is good from the beach and even better on trips out to other reefs or coral gardens

Kaafu Dhiffushi is a small local island situated 45 minutes...
Kaafu Dhiffushi is a small local island situated 45 minutes boat ride North of Male. This is a small island with a local school, a water reservoir, an electricity maintenance centre, two football fields and houses where locals stay. There are hotels on the island with restaurants.
The beaches on the island are super and it is good if you are looking for budget hotels.

Travellers should be aware of the cost of getting here from Malé airport. The ferry comes right to the airport terminal exit area and is less expensive but takes 3.5 hrs each way. It would be a great way to have a leisurely view of the northern atolls on your way if you have the time. The hotel speedboat took only 45 minutes and it was lots of fun but for 4 people it cost us close to $600 CAD round-trip including taxes and exchange, so make sure you add this to your budget. Private seaplane transfers are also available but they cost even more. There are two taxes charged by the government, which together add an additional 22% tyi your bill, so be sure to factor that in. Getting around Dhuffushi is easy. The hotel staff pick you up at the port in a golf buggy to take you the several blocks to the hotel. The entire island us 950 metres long by 240 metres wide. Looking down a laneway you can see both seashores.

A beautiful island has four gorgeous beaches and enough dining options, but polluted, the locals don't care about cleanliness, lazy and indifferent to plastic. On the ferry, I was outraged at how the locals throw their trash into the ocean.
