We spent 15 days in the apartment. Everything was perfectly fine, during our stay the equipment in the bathroom and toilet were even replaced with more comfortable ones, and all this only because the owner maintains the house excellently. We also had a rented car from the host and unfortunately someone broke into it near the store. The owner of the house is a complete professional and by the morning he sorted everything out with the police and they caught the culprit. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, including air conditioning. We felt completely safe here. We can only recommend. The apartment was cleaned every day and towels were changed every other day. It was an absolutely exceptional stay for us and our 4-year-old son. From the apartment, we made trips all over the island and the vast majority on the recommendation of the lady who handed over the car to us. The overall impression of our stay is excellent. There is nothing we can fault. We wish many, many satisfied tourists and good luck. We thank Mr. Razz and his family for a pleasant vacation. We will definitely be back.

Close to Le Morne and other attractions and places worth visiting, 90 min drive to Port Louis. Island is a paradise for botanical enthusiasts, hikers, climbers, fans of all sorts of water sports and beautiful reef fish, encounters with whales, dolphins etc.very friendly lovely locals and I felt very safe at all times, safer than in European many places. Please do book with local people, not all inclusive international resorts without local feel.

Great location to discover southern part of the island. Close to many beautiful beaches, on many of them you feel like a private only for you. The underwater life could be better - large amount of bleached and dead corals in the lagoons. But beyond the reef, they are in a good condition (booking a snorkeling/diving trip definitely recommended).

The village itself is nothing interesting, it doesn't even have its own beach. It's just a busy long road. But it has an ideal location with regard to the nearby beach and Le Morne mountain, the waterfall and natural attractions in Chamarel, or the Casela World of Adventures. Further south beyond Le Morne there are also some very nice beaches.

Much more peaceful that surrounding areas, and not at all overcrowded. Good supermarket. No petrol station, nearest is Tamarin. Much cooler than up north but not as comfortable as the east. Very good choice, all in all.
big apartment, with everything you need. really nice furnished, and very clean. we were very happy about the french press in the kitchen. the roof top is also great with a really nice view. communication with the hosts were easy and fast, they were very helpful. every apartment has his own terrace or balcony. you need a car to get to le morne beach. At La Gaulette is no beach. but some nice restaurants and a big supermarket. and a lot of fruit stands.
Complete appartment in a quiet area of la gaulette with great view from the big roof terrace. Very good location to explorer the south. Easy en quick communication with host via WhatsApp (there were not there but it is an easy, flexible checkin via codes). Comfortabel bed. Big supermarket at 1,5km for selfcatering, some restaurants and some smaller shops closer. Fair in price, so recommended. Best if you have a car!

The building is very nice and well located. My appartment has all facilities. Shower with hot water and good pressure. Very good WiFi. The owner Mr Raaz and his wife are super kind and welcoming. I had some extra need in the room and the were there to help to solve. I am Happy to meet them. Kitchen and bathroom very good. All is there for a good stay in LA Gaulette
Marisa is a very nice place owned by Isabelle and Helen who have been in contact with us since we booked it 5 months before arrival sending all the updated information on Mauritius. Rooms in very good condition with excellent everyday cleaning service. Special thanks to Mario who takes care of this place and was always ready to help us. In the nearby there is a big supermarket with everything you need.
We really enjoyed our stay! The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. They even had suggestions and ideas which places to visit and where to enjoy Mauritius. Also the view from the apartment is beautiful. We would definitely recommend this place. Coming back after a long day exploring the island really felt like coming home because of the unique and cosy atmosphere at the apartment.
Amazing view from the rooftop terrace, room had everything we needed and more, everybody was so nice and helpful, organized dolphin watching was really cool and well done by the captain, special ice tea for the welcome and on checkout a cute little gift, thank you so much for the lovely stay, Bianca, it was definitely the best of all the 6 different apartments we had on Mauritius!
great location and facilities. the room is in a gorgeous building with a beautiful rooftop and pool area. there is everything you need in the rooms and they were very clean and tidy. there is a big supermarket within walking distance, and some great restaurants, we had one of our best meals in Mauritius at Frizzy around the corner.
