I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel in the Msida area of Malta, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the incredibly kind and helpful woman at the reception. Her warm welcome set the tone for the rest of my stay, and she was always available to offer assistance and local tips.
The rooms were a highlight of my stay. They were spacious, impeccably clean, and featured modern, well-appointed bathrooms. It was clear that the housekeeping staff took great pride in their work, as my room was thoroughly cleaned every day. The attention to detail was impressive, and I always returned to a fresh and inviting space after a day of exploring.
One of the most convenient aspects of this hotel was its location. Situated right next to a bus station, it provided easy access to the heart of Malta. It took just 10 minutes to reach the center, making it an ideal ba. Despite its proximity to public transport, the hotel maintained a peaceful ambiance, perfect for relaxation.
Overall, my stay at this hotel in Msida was exceptional. The combination of spacious, clean rooms, excellent service, and a convenient location made for a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta.

The location of the apartment is in a very good part of the Tashbish district, in front of Manoel island. Easy to get within 10 minutes by taxi to Valletta's old town. Within 5 minute's walk are located a few nice cafes, for every taste - from Turkish kebab to French croissants. In a 15 to 20-minute walk is a ferry from Sliema to Valletta or boat trips around the island or to Gozo island.

The location was perfect for us coming off the ferry from Sicily. Also within walking distance to the harbour, ferries, restaurants, supermarkets and buses.
The apartment was very modern and spacious for 4 adults. The views from balconies were stunning.

Everything was perfect! Very welcoming host, there was some misunderstanding with the cleaner and some toilet paper and towels were missing. She responded immediately and resolved the problem! Would definitely visit again, great communication, beautiful flat!

Host told me, that he can do nothing about our situation (cockroaches in the apartment) but booking.com did great job and managed to find next one for us really quickly! Good job from support guy.

Neighbouthood is fine, with lots of bars, restaurants, etc. nearby. On the downside you're about a 25 min walk (uphill) to the centre of Valletta. However, there are LOTS of buses to the centre from nearby and the ticket is just EU2.50. Remember, too, that the standard cash fare for buses is EU2.50 and your valided for re-use on any bus for up to two hours from time of issue.

The town itself looks nothing special. I liked that it was close to the main towns we went to and that was very convenient. There is convenient transportation, a store, places to eat breakfast and the price of our hotel was great.

Central and easy access to several bus lines. Good restaurants close to the hotel. Taʼ Xbiex offers a normal daily life with nice local inhabitants in the surroundings, i.e. ideal for anybody who prefers not to be confronted with overcrowed and loud touristic areas.

During our stay at Johnny M we intentionally stayed only...
During our stay at Johnny M we intentionally stayed only onboard. However I know the area very well. It is in the center of Malta and you may reach anywhere by car and also by public transport. There is a great relaxing walk on the promenade on both sides of the yacht. on one side there is an area with rocky beach where you may relax and swim in clear blue sea. Lots of good restaurants surround the area and there are a lot of bars for all type of people. Johnny M cannot be in a better place.

Ta’ Xbiex was a good location to be based and was really nice and vibrant in the evening with restaurants around the harbour. Easy buses to and from Valletta, felt safe, comfortable and the weather was brilliant! Mamma Mia being a good place to eat for some local cuisine and would recommend visiting the lovely island of Gozo and the Blue Lagoon! Chilled, not much a night life but would love to go back. Good place to for a couples break lots to do and see :)

The hotel was 100 yards from the harbour from where you could walk to lovely restaurants. Thirty minutes from Sliema and Forty Five minutes from Valletta, (walking). Buses makes it easier at 2 Euro's a trip, whatever the destination. We bought a 12 journey card for 15 euro's which lasted us the time we were there.
