In Kalkara, history and modernity are mixed. Here is real life and real locals. It is very interesting to watch There are no crowds of tourists. . About 20 minutes by bus and you are in the center of Valletta, where life boils or 20 minutes on foot and you are in Birgu another mysterious Maltese city
I recommend to those travelers who want to explore the city and the country from the inside.
We stayed here for 2 weeks, and loved it. This is a lovely apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay. the view is unbeatable and we loved sitting out I. the evening watching the sun go down and the old city walls opposite lighting up. Christian goes out of his way to help if anything problems. It is near the bus stop so easy to get into Valletta and everywhere on the island. Also easy to walk to the 3 cities. We also enjoyed walking around peaceful Kalkara where the apartment is.

The apartments has perfect location in Kalkara. Good connections with all parts of island. The room was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Staff is kind and polite. If I come again in Malta, I will stay here for sure! See you again!
The hotel is located in a nice quiet place quite far from Valletta. There’s a straight bus to the city, but it takes quite a lot of time and nearby stop is temporarily closed. Just take it to account. The view from the roof is great.
The location isn't that central, but Kalkara is quiet and nice to stay in (if you have a car or plan on taking a bus that takes around 35m to get to Valletta). Very friendly locals, who helped us get around and offered advice.
Clean and cosy apartment in the middle of Kalkara. You can eat your local breakfast near the apartment door 😉. Beautiful view from the balcony. Strictly recomended 🙂
