Exceptional stay at the White Knight last weekend! Pity it was a short stay. Heidi welcomed us warmly and with a great smile on her face and asked us to contact her anytime if we needed anything. The room we had was very large and had all the amenities one needs and the beds were super comfortable! We also had a lovely courtyard where one can sit outside in the breeze. The bathroom was also large with a big walk in shower. The rooms are highly decorated and each room has a theme on an animal. Ours was giraffe themed and was wonderful. The breakfast is also to die for! A menu is given to you and you choose from different items, all prepared fresh there and then which also includes tea, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice and water. Highly recommended and I look forward to staying there again! Thank you Heidi for an extraordinary stay!

Krisztina, the host went above and beyond to make our stay in Gozo memorable. She sent us detailed information about the apartment and where to tour on the island, including lists of restaurants, etc, which made our stay on the island so easy. The apartment was very clean and cosy. We enjoyed every bit of our Easter holiday.
I recommend this property. If you want a quiet, relaxing, beautiful, and safe place to enjoy yourself and have some good reads while you view the sea, Seaview Luxury Penthouse is the place to go!!

I like the style & ambiance of this boutique hotel. It's picturesque, calm, and beautiful if you want to unwind and spend a silent holiday. The rooms (esp. old ones) are charming, lobby & restaurant are elegant and cozy same time. The pool is also super nice esp. when empty. But during crowded weekends it's way too small.
Overlooking Marsalforn Bay, the Calypso features a rooftop swimming pool with sun deck and cocktail bar. The hotel lies on Gozo, 10 km from the Ferry Terminal with connections to Malta.

The hotel was great and exactly was we wanted. The hotel is in the center of Nadur next to the church. The are two great restaurants attached to the hotel. The Fat Rabbit local food and Del Capo great pizza and burgers and also the breakfast spot. Our room was good with a balcony that had views over most of Gozo. The staff and specially Frankie, front desk manager, were always helpful.

The Grand Hotel at Mgarr is a short walk up from the ferry terminal. Very easy to find as you can see it from the harbour.
If you don’t want to eat at the hotel there are several little bistros going down to the harbour.
I would particularly recommend Sammy’s for quality and value.

A shuttle bus to the ferry from the hotel would be good and more info on Resterant , they have some of the best Restaurants in the harbour and only found out about them from our friends who used to live there.. it’s a very lively place with lots of traffic due to the ferry service .. you need to be very careful when walking anywhere , then pavement are very narrow. It’s has a very regular bus service but they have no air-conditioning , so they are pretty hot, we used bolt & Uber to get around mainly

Sleepy town with a lot of activity in the harbour area.
Sleepy town with a lot of activity in the harbour area.
Some great little eatery finds and bus links to Victoria and the rest of Gozo perfect.
Make sure you get a Tallinja bus card (12 rides will do) as a deal and the bus network is amazing and takes away some of the stress of parking if only going across the island.
Don’t forget to say Bonjo to everyone
Very quiet in comparison to other parts of Malta but nice to kick back and relax and enjoy the views, boat trips and feel more immersed in Gozo life.
Victoria is bustling but still relaxed in comparison to Valleta and check out all the local festivals as so many amazing ones from wine, cheese, fireworks to Pride.
Make sure you get over to Ramla bay and hike the bay along with a dip in the water but don’t forget wet shoes as will be needed across entire cost even the sandy ones (trust me).
You have to try the local pastizzi (cheese pasty) as super tasty.
Highly recommend Country Terrace for the service and food was lovely and great wine list.
For me only thing that was missing was a great little bar

We based ourselves here to allow hire car travel around all of Gozo (dive sites) + ease of car/ferry use to reach & explore Malta mainland. It served that purpose quite well, although would base ourselves either in Victoria (central Gozo) or Valletta in Malta next time, as it doesn't take too long to get around by car - driving on left (for UK drivers) makes it very easy. Driving in Malta requires less road manners than UK!
Good take-away food in general & plentiful very good (though some expensive) restaurants. Would not recommend the Chinese restaurant. Others, more Italian/Mediterranean based, are far better quality. The variety of beach/swim sites on Gozo is fantastic.
