It was my best hotel experience ever! This hotel is worth every penny. Rooms and service are just perfect. The view from the rooms to the bay is breathtaking. Breakfast is just WOW. Also, we had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and it was great, the waiter suggested suitable wine for our meals.
During cold days in April, we had a great time at the hotel's SPA.

It was a real pleasure staying in this hotel. We had everything needed and staff is amazing. It was great to have breakfast next to see in the morning and to enjoy in the view. We will come again, this time on few days.

The view from our balcony was absolutely amazing. We stayed 3-days and loved living right in the middle of Perast, but without any noise. Super easy check-in, the host was very kind and helpful, the apartment was also bigger than expected and had a convenient kitchen.

It's indeed the home of the old parents, so feel like being home with a vintage touch. Lubica the mama is super nice and friendly.
My room has a window is facing the bay so the view is amazing with the breeze. For colder days, an A/C is available for warming the room.

Everything was so clean and comfortable. The staff was so nice, and they had answers for every question we needed. Also we had everything for our stay from dishes to towels and hair dryer. Great experience and we are planing our next visit to Perast and definetly staying here again!

A must see, the highlight of our trip. Old and authentic with the small islands to go to by boat. People were very friendly and wonderful restaurants. Kotor city just near but we were happy to have stopped here.

The town of Perast over the past several years has become like a hotel, analogous to Sveti Stefan - looking beautiful and functioning great for tourists. Perast is very small, one can walk all along it within twenty minutes, and that explains, but does not justify the absence of any pharmacy in the town, which is my only complaint.

Picturesque old town with a nice beach front walk.
Picturesque old town with a nice beach front walk. All restaurants are expensive tourist traps with expensive lousy food. Parking is a nightmare. It is worth a 30 minute visit to walk along the beach front (make sure you are not hungry)

We had 3 weeks in Montenegro and spent the last 3 nights in Perast. We could have had another 2-3 days here to be fair. It is much calmer than Kotor and even though it is much smaller we enjoyed Perast better as a city. It is not so crowded and we enjoyed walking from Perast to Risan where we had lunch and then on the way back we stopped for a swim. We had lunch at an amazing oyster farm (the first one on your right as you walk back from Risan - search for "Mussles and Oysters farm with Restaurant" on Google). They were fully booked but still gave us a table and we had one of the best lunches!
We also spent a day swimming, there are several small "concrete piers" that you can swim from, good for both adults and children, but remember to have shoes to swim with, lots of mussels and rocks at some spots.
I also have to recommend a restaurant called “Underwater wine cellar Kraken Kotor”. A small independent restaurant, floating just outside of Perast on the way towards Kotor. We had a swim straight “of” the restaurant, good food and wine. It is an experience you will never forget!
We never went to Our lady of the rocks, it just seemed to be too crowded (unless you manage to get with the first taxi/tour in the morning). We did walk up in the church tower in the centre.

Perast was lovely, although with a young family a day trip...
Perast was lovely, although with a young family a day trip would have been long enough. There is a cafe which serves the best pizza I’ve ever eaten - Bocolibre I think it was called. If only there were more relaxed cafe type places to eat as all the restaurants serve the same dishes. It is truly pretty but lacks enough beach space for the amount of visitors. We used a spot on the road to enjoy swimming which was fine but not restful or much fun for young children.
The location and the fascinating view. It's totally worth the fact that the apartment is a bit hard to find, there is a huge amount of steps to the apartment (not much of a problem for young people, but I can only guess the surprise on the faces of elderly people when they understand the way up they have to handle)
It's in the center of all you need in Perast - 2 minutes from a small store (drinks, nachos, etc.) and 3 minutes from the nearest restaurant.
Great choice for the price we had.
Perfect stay.
Perast is a wonderful gem and the hotel, right next to the main square fitted right in. Confortable beds, clean rooms, very good breakfast (a la carte), a nice terrace, good restaurant.
We benefited from not staying in high season and had almost all the terrace almost for us. Kotor is a short drive away, but you can take the bus (preferable than taxi).
Very good comunication with the staff and the hotel, especially Jelena, that gave us most of the indications.
We had a great 2 week stay at apartment Kula. The view and location are perfect and the flat is well equipped for cooking etc. Boris’s mother met us at the property and there were some delicious treats and fruit for us. The apartment was easy to locate and park at which is so helpful in Perast! We were also working remotely and the WiFi was fast and good. I’d recommend this as a base for exploring Montenegro.
Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was large with a lovely view over the water. The hotel includes an incredible buffet breakfast in the morning that you may enjoy looking out over the water. Perast is a perfect place to stay while visiting Kotor. So much more peaceful and quaint. It was wonderful to walk along the waterfront in the morning and evening when the crowds left.
Our three-night stay at Apartments Gudco was perfect in every way. Magical. Our very comfortable and spotless apartment was beautifully appointed with a stunning view of the bay and with every possible amenity. Our host was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and accommodating. We would stay there again in a heartbeat if we should have the good fortune to return to enchanting Perast. Thank you!
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location with great service from helpful and attentive staff.
The views from this hotel are stunning and the building is too. Having breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the lake each morning is a great start to the day, the sun terraces by the water are a real bonus for Perast and the indoor spa & pool are excellent too.
Perast is one of the most peaceful place, and i will definitely come back. I had the most amazing stay in the apartment with even 2 balconies with church and sea view, one for morning coffee and one for sunbath. I loved that. My host Milica made my stay even more exceptional . I totally recommend for total reset and recharge ❤️❤️❤️
A lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the delightful village of Perast. This small chacter hotel has a first class restaurant right on the waters edge and our waiter, who has been working in the hotel for 47 years was excellent.Must also mention Marrianna on reception who was super efficient and friendly.
Per Astra is up the hill in Perast, meaning that it is one of the rare hotels in the village owning a parking place. This was the main reason for our choice of the hotel, and it fully delivered on the promise. The room was very large and calm, with a huge bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
If you like staying in an apt rather an hotel in the beautiful village of Perast, this is definitely the place to be: very comfortable (beds and sheets were the best), well decorated, bright, nice terrace with the view on the sea, ideal walking distance from the parking, welcoming hosts, etc
AMAZING! One of the best views I've ever had! Very near from Perast "center", you just have to walk 3 min down some beautiful stairs.
Miljan (the owner) is also a very friendly person, he even greeted us with some beers and juice!
I would come back there 100 times!
The location was just great , we had a lovely host she was verry sweet. and helped us with everything. It felt like we were staying with favorite aunt. I hope to visit again in the future.
People of montenegro are very welcoming warm and kind.❤🇲🇪❤
We came back for our last day in Montenegro to spend in Perast. Love this place and definitely it will be my stop next time I'll travel to Montenegro.
Again thank you for everything and I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone.
We traveled from Albania to Perast for the 2nd time.
This time we stayed for sleep in this city.
Our hotel was wonderful.
This hotel was a very friendly place for couple and kids.
We plane to come back again within this summer.
Good place to stay for a couple of days. Perfect location in the heart of Perast althought there is no possibility to park the car near the property. The host is really helpful with getting to the flat.
Amazing view, location and friendly host. Big apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Extra blankets for the cold. Very near the sea and centre, surrounded by mountains.
