Ecolodge Quaryati Marrakech, hotel in Had Abdallah Rhiat

This traditional Moroccan guest house is situated in a large garden, 30 minutes from Marrakech. It features a spa centre with hammam, and also has an outdoor swimming pool with pool-side bar.

The swimming pool is excellent. The rooms are good. I needed a means of transport and they provided a bicycle. Breakfast is good and varied, the atmosphere is calm. Youssef took care of me, prepared the meals I needed and provided transport when needed. The air conditioning in the rooms works well.

We loved so much! The rooms and gardens were exceptionally beautiful. It really is a very special place. Understated beauty in every corner. The front office team - both ladies - were very friendly and helpful. Everything was brilliantly organised, both before our stay and during it. The rest of the staff team were very keen to please and were polite and helpful. Lovely to meet the owners who have a wonderful vision.

Pickalbatros Aqua Fun Club All inclusive, hotel in Had Abdallah Rhiat

Aqua Fun Club Marrakech overlooks the Atlas Mountains and is situated on 10 acres of land surrounded by shady olive trees.

The aqua park is great both for adults and kids and it's right there in the hotel. We didn't even use the hotel's own pools which also seemed great. The food has a very wide assortment. It is mostly great quality, especially the constant stream of oven baked pizzas. The staff is really nice and helpful from the reception to the pools and the food hall. They were extremely helpful in accommodating a late checkout for us even with a mostly fully booked hotel.

Fellah Hotel, hotel in Had Abdallah Rhiat

Situated on the Route de l'Ourika in Marrakech, this stylish hotel features an outdoor swimming pool and spa facilities.

- The hotel is calm, spacious and beautiful, full of plants & cacti, rooms are nice and modern, and the pool is lovely - they also have an impressive library (mostly books in French, but one could find some in other languages) - The breakfast buffet is great, and so were the other meals that we had there - Very kids friendly, they easily put a cot in our room, they had swimming "noodles" for the pool, and a big part of the library was kids books - The staff at the restaurant is really friendly and nice

Everything! The people were so friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lovely and super comfy beds. The grounds. Wow. You can't imagine that behind the blue gates is so beautiful. Breakfast was simple but very nice. We used the local taxi guy a lot and they were excellent too. I loved it.

We loved everything about the concept of this quiet, tranquil spa Kasbah. The rooms were all beautifully decorated and facing the Atlas Mountains. It may be a little far out of the main town for some people but with the hustle and bustle just a taxi ride away it worked perfect. The Mendili will happily organise trips to the markets, tours of the local area ,Atlas Mountains, and any Taxis you may need. A little oasis in a desert. We spent New Year in the Mendili and our hosts Catherine and Alain entertained with a wonderful meal, music and dancing catering for all the nationalities staying in the Kasbah. Just to mention that menus are set and therefore no choice. However, the food they serve is traditional, made fresh daily and the taste is magnificent, so no choice required.

This palace is like a retreat from the life/work/rhythms you leave behind you! We spent 6/7 of the days at the riad, 24/7 and did not want for anything. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and relax it’s perfect. The staff were so helpful and hard working, the food home cooked and made to order, the rooms are spacious and in early summer there are baby animals roaming the grounds like a mini national park! There were baby chicks, swallows, kittens, peacocks and their parents! And some frogs to keep you on your toes in the evenings! We LOVED it! Great to meet Moroccan families taking a few day break, and people from all over the world come and went. It’s not at all ‘fancy’ but you have everything you need on hand and it has such a homely atmosphere you can make the place your own! Take a book and some cards and someone you can chill with and enjoy!!! Special shout out to abdulelleh who is soooo generous, friendly and hard working!
