We stayed one night here, in preparation for departing on the ferry from Tangier port the next morning. From the outside, the property looks like a high quality house and is located in a quiet residential area. Parking is available on the quiet road outside the house. The house and our room were spotlessly clean. The rooftop terrace gives views of the surrounding area, including one of the beaches. Breakfast is usually served between 8.00am and 10.00am, but we were planning to depart at 7.30am to go to the ferry port. The owner very graciously arranged to have a light breakfast available for us before we left. Even though we didn't eat much, we greatly appreciated the gesture. Everything was just perfect! Our host Hicham was genuinely friendly and attentive. He met us personally, and helped us settle in. The little house itself is lovely and in an immaculate condition. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare one's own meals and since there is also a big-screen TV, there is no need to go anywhere on stormy days. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful with lush pastures, hilly slopes and the wild Atlantic Ocean with its vast, sandy beach. The walk down the hill from the bus stop (we took a bus from Tangier, so the house can easily be reached without a car) is amazing. There are plenty of farm animals around, cows, sheep and hens, and many cats that we grew very fond of. There is also a little store by the highway (less than 1 km from the house), where you can get basic foodstuffs (water, bread, eggs, milk, some vegetables, etc.). Overall, Hicham's place is ideal for those guests who like some peace and quiet, and want to experience Morocco's beauty in a less touristy area on the Atlantic beach.

It was such a nice stay, the host was very warm and friendly. The place was clean and cozy to sleep in and has a cot if needed to request. Most of all I enjoyed the place because she was such a nice person and she showed us how to use anything and if we need help when she gave the keys.
