Agadir is vibrant the people are friendly much calmer place to visit compared to marrakech or casablanca.
Nice place to relax and enjoy the sun.. Souk al Had is vast for the shopping enthusiast but for the adventurous I would recommend visit souk al Houria.
Be prepared for people begging it is a poor country but they are not aggressive as compared to Marrakech..plenty of activities at hand obviously shop around for best prices and haggle..

Great family friendly place to stay.
Great family friendly place to stay. We went for 2 weeks, 1 week in an airbnb and 1 week in a hotel. Kids enjoyed the stay, it was not as hot as we expected and the seafront was always buzzing. Local people are very friendly without much of the harassment you get in other Moroccan touristic cities. Souk has everything you need and the old city, Agadir Oufella has now been refurbished and is great for a trip to learn about the old city as well as great views and photos.

Agadir has a fantastic beach with a vast promenade filled with restaurants and shops. The locals are friendly and accommodating. The souk is nearby and within walking distance from the main highway. The roads are busy and chaotic, and the pedestrian crossings follow different rules than in Europe. Frequently, motorists, mainly motorbikes, will continue even when the light is green for pedestrians to cross, so be extra vigilant.
I recommend the following things to do in Agadir: visit the beachfront, shop in the souk, and take cable cars, which provide great views across the city.
People should be aware of areas around the beach that could be cleaner and have better signage to help people reach the beach from the main highway. There are many beggars and drunks along the approach to the beach without any Police presence.
Overall, most people visit Agadir once, and the only reason to return is the beachfront.

I liked the location of the hotel and view from my bedroom,...
I liked the location of the hotel and view from my bedroom, what I disliked is the hotel looks nothing like it’s pictures on booking.com the pool closes at 6pm, my roomblankets didn’t get changed and wifi is rubbish the morning breakfast wasnt to my expectations. But apart from that staff are really nice
Nicely decorated communal areas, spacious rooms, generally warm and friendly staff, and nice grounds right opposite the beach. For an all inclusive resort, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the food (not to say it was the best ever - but above expectations!). Even as vegetarians, we always had plenty to choose from. We had a nice hammam experience, and an excellent massage. It was busy but not full, which made it feel more relaxed. Huge diversity of guests, which made it feel welcoming to everyone.
Beautiful hotel with amazing scenery and views. The grounds were stunning and pool area amazing. We particularly really enjoyed the swim up bar in the adult pool. Really relaxing and a perfect romantic hotel for couples. The the all inclusive food was also great, the breakfast in particular was really impressive and lunch (snack bar) had a great selection. Overall a really enjoyable stay would highly recommend 😊
the service was one of the best I've experienced in Morocco, stuff very friendly and helpful.
The food was fresh and diverse, the usual all-inclusive style
There were always sun-loungers available and I found that in this hotel people didn't rush to reserve spaces in the morning
The stretch of beach is clean and calm being next to the royal palace there is not many people like other spots in Agadir
The hotel is big but the breakfast room is divided in smaller ‘ rooms ‘ with a moroccon touch on the wall . The breakfast area has also the typical tajine pottery which adds some atmosphere . Staff ( from cleanerlady to restaurant manager ) are all very , very nice and warm .
Location is right on the beach !
Swimming pool area + palmtrees is pleasant and tidy 👍
As a moroccan, I know a lot about agadir, the culture, how it was years ago and practically have been to almost al hotels.
As an all inclusive hotel the food was great. Authentic morrocan food (not that European adaptation). Very diverse every day.
Location is perfect.
Cleaning job very good.
Security very professional
