The place is quiet and peaceful. It is nice if You want to relax out of city noise. There is a big supermarket where you can buy very good Lithuanian food. There aren't any attractions in the town but it is located so close to Druskiennikai which is full of attractions that it is a really good option. You can get everywhere buy buses or minibuses easily if You do not have a car. It is safe place and people are very nice.
