- Upon arrival in Sri Lanka we stayed here for the first two nights. It was perfect to kick-off our holiday and to have a relaxing start. - The rooftop pool was great and very big, maybe just a bit colder than expected. But the jacuzzi had a very nice temperature and were perfect for longer relaxing. - The complimentary city-tour organised by the hotel was great, gave a great overview of Colombo and was also not too long (ca. 3 hours). - We also booked a trip to Sigiriya (Lion’s rock) with drop-off in Kandy afterwards via the hotel. It was a full day of travelling (ca. 7 hours of car drive) but our driver Duminda was very kind and friendly. Having just arrived in a new country, it was super nice to have someone taking such good care of you. We would highly recommend to ask for Duminda in case you’re planning to do a trip via the hotel. In terms of pricing, we also compared with costs on tripadvisor. The costs via the hotel were a bit more expensive but it was definitely worth it as we also drove in a nice and comfortable car with a safe driver.
