One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka!! The staff are sooo friendly, helpful and kind and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Nuwan was able to answer all of our questions and even helped us plan the next leg of our trip!
The included breakfast is plentiful and delicious and the rice and curry dinner was amazing — especially the homemade eggplant dish!! We also loved sitting in the garden under the beautiful fruit trees for our meals.
The room was clean and spacious (and cool when we arrived as they had already put the air con on for us!!) and the outdoor bathroom was really unique.
If you’re looking for a peaceful and authentic experience away from the business of Arugam Bay town, this is the place for you. We can’t wait to return!!! 🙌
Excellent spot! Great surf break! No crowds. Even if you don’t surf it’s worth spending a couple of nights here just to read, relax, reconnect and recoup!
It’s rather remote so you tend to stay put once you’re there although they do have a tuk tuk should you want to explore surroundings. Not much there other than some farm lands, a small village nearby and another surf resort next door. Makes one appreciate how good life can be when things are kept clean and simple.
