Great location for Yala Safari. The house is a 20-25min walk to Kirinda beach and less than 5 min to a shop with water, fruit and snacks. We stayed to do a 12hr safari with Santha the host which was very fairly priced and really enjoyable. Very generous breakfast and lunch on safari. Way more than we could eat. The room is clean and basic but provided what we needed. Lovely seating area outside the room to relax in the garden with some lovely plants.

It’s a lovely place, the villa is spacious, very clean and the beds are super comfy and the decor beautiful. The patio is also very nice to sit outside. Inside you will find everything you need and even more - it was just perfect!

This place was marvelous: Our host was such a lovely person offering true hospitality enjoying every minute he served us. A pleasure to stay in this calm house!
Only a few minutes' walk to the beach, which offers kilometers of sand for undisturbed rest. Every morning we were served a huge amount of breakfast according to our taste - fresh tropical fruits, juice, Sri Lankan or Western style...more that we could eat :) !
The room always clean, the towels with a lovely smell.
Located between the two national parks we joined the reccomended safari to Yala national park that exceeded our expectations: we observed a lepard, saw elephants, crocodiles, waterbuffaloes, wordrabs/Warzenschweine, 4 species of monkeys, a variety of colourful birds and other little animals...!
We could not expect more! A lifetime experience we will never forget ...and recommend without doubt to everybody who longs for a restful, calm and authentic stay in Sri Lanka's south!

Enjoying views of Tissa Lake from all its modern rooms, The Safari is located in Tissamaharama. A 20-minute drive from Yala National Park, it has an outdoor pool with lake view and free Wi-Fi.
Everything was amazing. It was super clean, organized, and excellent food. Loved all about the room, the bathroom was so nice compared to many in Sri Lanka, it was clean and spacious and the Wi-Fi works perfectly. The swimming pool is also very clean and pretty. The owners are a lovely family, and they really take care and arrange everything for you. It is one of the best places I have stayed in Sri Lanka.
The beach next to the accommodation is amazing... Nobody and very nice. Not possible to swim but long walk along the ocean is nice.
As there's not a lot to do around, with no shop or restaurant it's good to have the possibility to have breakfast + diner at the accommodation. It's very good and the place is very pleasant, with a wonderful garden. Nice place to rest a bit during the travel

Very beautiful place. Like living in jungle. Didnt see crocodiles in the lake because there wasnt enough water but still saw lizards and birds.
The bungalow was really cozy and comfortable and we got really good dinner.
Also we had safari arranged by the hosts and it was the best!

The resort is beautiful as well as the location- right in front of the beach. The host is very hospitable and all services provided were perfect! They even arranged safari and transporation for us.
