Everything. Huge open plan flat, all in lovely wood. Modern, clean with very well equipped kitchen. Great to have a washing machine. Large and powerful shower. Of the 9 places I have stayed in Sri Lanka, this had the best facilities. Smart bedding and towels, working TV, bar fridge and wifi; good hot water supply. Pleasant outlook from balcony, including toque macaque monkeys playing on wires not far away. Close to main street but only train noise noticed. Owner keen to assist. Comfortable lounge chairs and small dining table. Very clean modern bathroom. Only a 350 rupee ride to the fabulous Myula Restaurant/Bar with its sensational views and great food. Exemplary.

Good basic affordable accommodation. Staff really approachable and happy to help. Dinner was delicious and breakfast the same and very generous. The hidden extra here is the pool in the river just below the hotel which is clean for swimming a lovely surprise.
