I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Kithala Thissa-Yala Resort, and it was an experience worth every moment. From the moment we arrived, the tranquil ambiance and stunning views of the surrounding paddy fields immediately set the scene for a relaxing getaway. The resort itself is immaculate, with spotless rooms and well-maintained common areas. Its proximity to the main attractions is incredibly convenient, making it an excellent base for exploring the local sights. What truly sets Kithala Thissa-Yala Resort apart, however, is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. A special shout out to Ayenaji and Surangi from the front desk, and Iresh, Janith, Gihan, Wathsala, and Pavindu from the restaurant for their outstanding service. Additionally, a heartfelt thanks to the many other sweet and most attentive hotel staff who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Their service was unmatched, combining professionalism with a warm, personal touch that made us feel right at home. Initially, we only signed up for the bed and breakfast deal, but the quality of the food was so impressive that we ended up dining at the hotel for both lunch and dinner. Every meal was delicious, showcasing a variety of local and international dishes that catered to all tastes. In summary, if you are looking for a place to unwind and soak up the natural beauty of Yala, look no further than Kithala Thissa-Yala Resort. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel manager's duties is to ensure guests have an unforgettable experience. Love this place we will visit next time also. Thank you.

The hotel is located behind the resort. It is away from the traffic of the main road so it's quiet. The hosts were so nice and hospitable. The owners personally came to greet me. When I asked about breakfast options, they said there was no breakfast but they offered a rice-based snack which was very nice and appreciated.

I had an amazing time during my recent visit at the Wanamal Lake Front Yala. They showed me the greatest hospitality from the minute I arrived. To make sure I was comfortable and satisfied, the personnel went above and beyond. Travelling throughout the neighbourhood was easy because to the hotel's dependable and timely cab service. The drivers provided useful advice to improve my stay and were informed about the best places to go in the area. The hotel-arranged safari was one of the highlights of my stay. The guides were knowledgeable about animals and professional; everything was well-organized. It was a memorable experience because I got to observe a variety of creatures up close. The hotel's meals were delicious. Every dish, which featured a fusion of regional and global flavours, was expertly cooked. The restaurant's lovely atmosphere and good service enhanced the meal experience. All in all, the superb services and friendly atmosphere of the Wanamal Lake Front Yala much beyond my expectations. I wholeheartedly endorse it to anyone hoping for a relaxing and educational visit.

Fantastic little campsite in the middle of the Sri Lankan bush, only accessible by 4WD. Head in here and feel the serenity. With just the two tents it's a small, perfectly formed operation run by the wonderful host Nero, who not only looks after your every need but whips up amazing meals in his little camp kitchen, served on a table under the stars, with a bonfire to complete the magic.
