Great location, you’re surrounded by nature and the garden is beautiful. Rooms are spacious and very clean, with hot showers! The family are so friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious (the best jackfruit I’ve ever tasted!). I had lots of bites from my previous location and they treated them for me with a plant from the garden! Highly recommend!

The location of Fox Kandy is perfect. It's a 10 min ride from Kandy city (which is very busy and noisy), with the resort perched in a cliff overlooking a valley. Absolutely delightful location with the infinity pool views being spectacular. The rooms are spacious and well thought out. The restaurant is exceptional. They have great dinner buffets where we had the best food we ate in Kandy.

I had the pleasure to stay in this place for 1 night. The place is beautiful and offers a very nice view of the city and forest since it’s a little up hill. For this reason i had to take a tuk tuk to reach the place since i had a heavy luggage and it was hot! Otherwise, by foot it’s not that far away from the city center (20/30 minutes). It’s very quiet and cozy. The host is a wonderful person, always gave me useful tips on the city and also made me check in earlier without any supplements. Breakfast was the best, a combination of sweet (fruits, bread with butter and jam) and savory (omelette and vegetables). Thank you for everything!

The setting was beautiful, pool was lovely. Staff were friendly and the room was a nice size. It was nice to be outside of Kandy in the hills rather than in the town.

Of the 9 places I have stayed in Sri Lanka, this had the best facilities. Smart bedding and towels, working TV, bar fridge and wifi; good hot water supply. Pleasant outlook from balcony, including toque macaque monkeys playing on wires not far away. Close to main street but only train noise noticed. Owner keen to assist. Comfortable lounge chairs and small dining table. Very clean modern bathroom. Only a 350 rupee ride to the fabulous Myula Restaurant/Bar with its sensational views and great food. Exemplary.
