Absolutely amazing hotel, one of the best where we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The view is breathtaking with the Lion Rock and the rice fields just in front. All the staff is very friendly and helpful and will make your stay very pleasant, plus the restaurant serves delicious food at a very good price. The service is absolutely outstanding. Of course the view from the room is breathtaking, with a bath overlooking the lake. The pool is fantastic, with a view of the mountain range. The bed!!! Best in Sri Lanka in my opinion. Everything else was perfect, the room is great, spacious and super clean, the staff is amazing. It's a treat to stay here.

This is a basic hotel with a large room and a reasonable-sized bathroom that is kept clean.
The hotel borders a forecast, and the hotel grounds are covered with various types of trees and plants. In the morning, various birds bird chirping give us a feeling we are in the middle of a forest. A swimming pool is located in the middle of the hotel grounds.
The rooms were kept clean with a large bed. Comfortable mattresses (firmness 4.5 out of 5).
The bathroom is simple but kept clean.
Laundry service is available – single washing machine and tumble dryer usage costs circa £10. That is reasonable compared to many other hotels.
The restaurant is available, and the food is reasonable, but it has a limited menu. On the main road, a 15-minute walk from the Hotel, a few restaurants and convenient shops are located.
Staff – All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Willing to go the extra mile to give us the satisfaction.
Note: The visitors were advised not to venture out of the hotel without guidance after 7 pm due to the presence of wild elephants.
