I really liked the accommodation! It’s very close to the beach, 1min, it was clean and for the price really good, the bed was big with a mosquito net, I had AC and a ventilator and in general it had a lot of plants which I love.
It was close to the Main Street where all the restaurants, cafes and shops are, but it was still quiet.
The owner was super friendly and nice, we had some chats and he was always around to answer my questions.
I can definitely recommend it :)

It's a place for beach lovers and surfers. Further not that spectaculair place to stay, lot is outdated and overprized.
For nature lovers is Kumana the place to be and for that reason you stay in Arugam Bay. One village further is Panama, with a little accommodation to stay.

Best place to get away from the busy city life. This is my 7th time visited Arugambay and it has become my fav destination in Sri lanka so far. The vibe is so relaxing and beaches are breathtaking and you can go in to the wild

It is a must destination for any traveller who is interested...
It is a must destination for any traveller who is interested in surfing. There are shops to buy your needs and many more. You can find good restaurants where they serve meals at any time. Kumana the wild life sanctuary for birds is nearby to where you can arrange transport at Arugumbay. Apart from birds, crocodiles. Leopards. Bears and elephants can be sighted. Though this is situated at east coast there are places where you can observe sunsets as well.
Greatest place we have been to in Sri Lanka. Very nice hosts and personal, clean and comfy bungalow with everything one needs, very comfortable bed, refill of filtered water, bikes available to take without additional cost, awesome tips and information from the hosts. Located right at the start of Arugam Bay, so quick and easy to cycle to Pottuvil for cheaper local food and it is not so crowded as in the middle of Arugam Bay. Overall just perfect.

This property has a fantastic location close to Arugam Bay’s main point surf break, as well as being good location for great food options and convenient stores. The staff are amazing at reception where Michael will help with anything and the service team lead by Mano is always there to greet you with a big smile. The restaurant and workers are friendly and warm hearted, always ensuring a pleasant stay is met with good food and drink options.
What a place! The scenery is amazing, huts on the beach are so relaxing. But really the staff is what makes the resort special, they are super sweet and helpful. Had a great time and there are some good surf spots nearby, but without being in the bustle of A Bay. Would highly recommend, especially for couples and small groups that would prefer a more relaxed experience on this coast. Definitely will go back
Both the room and the bathroom was clean. Property itself is kept in good condition. Tucked away from the main street, so it is quiet yet very easy to access all the restaurants. Beach is only a short walk away.
Owner was nice and helpful. Both the owner and the assistant greeted us with friendly smiles whenever they saw us.
We plan on staying there again whenever we visit Arugam Bay the next time.
All the staff is amazing, especially Angie and her husband (the owners) always with a smile and kindness to give. There is yoga lessons, safari tours and surf classes to take. The environment of the hotel is amazing and all the good energies in Arugam Bay are there. They will build more in the future to expand the hotel so we will definitely come back to see and visit them. Thank you for everything!
I enjoyed my stay at Twinkle Bay Hotel. The rooms are adequate and clean. It is in a prime location in Arugam Bay, not far from the beach and the shopping street.
The hostel owner Muza is very accommodating and nice. He took care of all my needs. From staying in the hotel room after I checked out to taking me to the bus station from where I left.

Agra hostel is one of the best hostel i stayed in while traveling for over 7 weeks in Sri Lanka. The owner is one of a kind and made such good memories that will stay for life! The dorms are clean and the beds are really comfortable, close to the main road and the beach but still quiet so you can enjoy your rest after a long day of enjoying Arugam Bay.
Unlike some of the posts I’ve read in other places, I found the Oasis Bay to be clean, inviting and downright classic! The staff was very friendly and consistently making sure I was comfortable. I will definitely stay there when I come back!

Best place to stay in A-Bay! Ashan and team made us feel like home! Breakfast was amazing and every day something new! The rooms were clean and very spacious for two people. Every room has a hammock to relax and enjoy the sound of the ocean! We came back for a second stay - because we loved it so much!
The place was as described. Very close to all the actions in Arugam Bay. The bed was large and comfy. The Bathrooms are big and they were clean. The host was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy. You can simply walk and enjoy all the popular places around. Overall experience is good.

the property is definitely the prettiest one in our entire stay in sri lanka. There are palm trees and other greenery everywhere and you could lay in the hammock all day. The staff was very kind as well. If you visit arugam bay i would strongly advise you to stay here
Beautiful spot right in the center of Arugam Bay. The staff is amazing, the rooms are designed using only natural elements and even the furniture is constructed here from wood. The attention to detail from the room to the garden and restaurant is astonishing.
Great place with lovely staff. Beachside cabanas are simple but provide a dreamy getaway spot. Special meals each night are also great. This place is an Arugam Bay establishment, the oldest in the town. Wifi didn’t work but can’t complain otherwise.
Crocotopond is well located in Arugam Bay, near a ton of restaurants and the beach. The staff was super nice and helpful during our stay, and the facilities were clean. They helped us with everything we needed and we enjoyed it very much.
