World away from busy world. I love the destination. One of the best location I've visited in Sri Lanka. Superb. Kudumbigala Temple, Okanda Dewalaya, Kumana Bird Sanctuary, Yala east national park. Lovely beaches and lagoons and many more places to visit and activities to do in Arugam Bay.

It's a place for beach lovers and surfers.
It's a place for beach lovers and surfers. Further not that spectaculair place to stay, lot is outdated and overprized.
For nature lovers is Kumana the place to be and for that reason you stay in Arugam Bay. One village further is Panama, with a little accommodation to stay.

Best place to get away from the busy city life. This is my 7th time visited Arugambay and it has become my fav destination in Sri lanka so far. The vibe is so relaxing and beaches are breathtaking and you can go in to the wild

It is a must destination for any traveller who is interested...
It is a must destination for any traveller who is interested in surfing. There are shops to buy your needs and many more. You can find good restaurants where they serve meals at any time. Kumana the wild life sanctuary for birds is nearby to where you can arrange transport at Arugumbay. Apart from birds, crocodiles. Leopards. Bears and elephants can be sighted. Though this is situated at east coast there are places where you can observe sunsets as well.
Great 5 day stay for our family of 4. The team that run the hotel were really good with our kids.
Swimming on the beach every morning before breakfast was magic, the food was great, as was the bar and music each evening.
The room facilities were great as well.
Shout out to Murthala who helped out with anything we required, tuk tuks, safaris and advice on Arugam Bay in general.

this new hostel is super clean and has a fresh decor. the evening events bring a nice social vibe to it, with an outdoor cafe and drinking area. the cocktails are some of the best i’ve had in arugam bay plus super cheap if you get the happy hour deal.

Unlike some of the posts I’ve read in other places, I found the Oasis Bay to be clean, inviting and downright classic! The staff was very friendly and consistently making sure I was comfortable. I will definitely stay there when I come back!

Wifi was incredibly faster than expected.
Jazz is a wonderful host who takes care of everything. The accommodation is clean and equipped with good air conditioning. The location is also very good, right by the beach. Jazz cooked us dinner in the evening (it wasn't charged to us, so we forgot to pay for it - sorry Jazz!). A perfect accommodation for Arugam Bay.

Little bay is cozy place just 100m from the beach. I stayed here for a week. It felt like home. Do have a chat with Ruwan at the property to know the surrounding places around arugam bay. It's an amazing place to vibe :) there is also a bicycle which you can use to cover the places around arugam bay.
The place was as described. Very close to all the actions in Arugam Bay. The bed was large and comfy. The Bathrooms are big and they were clean. The host was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy. You can simply walk and enjoy all the popular places around. Overall experience is good.
the property is definitely the prettiest one in our entire stay in sri lanka. There are palm trees and other greenery everywhere and you could lay in the hammock all day. The staff was very kind as well. If you visit arugam bay i would strongly advise you to stay here

I really liked the vibe of this place. Ideal for solo travelers who like their privacy but also want to socialize. The space downstairs is ideal for this. I also really liked that there was a co-work room, haven’t encountered those anywhere here in Arugam Bay.
Very nice and chilled place to stay. We enjoyed that the hotel was very quiet altough it is located very close to center of Arugam Bay. The stuff was helpful, friendly and the breakfast was every day different, local and delicious. We come again! :)
