Its a truly unique experience because its a western style Ryokan. Rooms are really clean and spacious, onsen is beautiful and the water quality is really great! The food is one of the best in the ryokans we have stayed, with impeccable service!

This was the best hotel I stayed in with my family this year! The professionalism and preparedness of the staff was exceptional frankly. But the human kindness with it was touching. My wife and daughter got lovely gifts and the next day my son as well: heartbreaking frankly. The quality of interior design, especially the tea lounge was enjoyable. The onsen had lovely details, an amazing view over the town, and complementary ice-creams the kids enjoyed. This was probably the highlight for my family during our Japan trip, due to hospitality care.

Everything about this place was designed to make the guests feel like royalty.
The staff were kind and helpful.
The ryokan is set in the most beautiful surroundings. The room was like a dream, and the outdoor onsen was spectacular. The added option to use their sauna was also great.

We arrived early but were greeted by their very accommodating staff, offering extra help in locating the shopping and dinning area of the town. The young concerige lady always carries a charming smile and it turns out that she is the one serving us the two dinners. She makes our day!
We have been to many onsen hotels in Japan and the food offered by Motoyo is one of the best!
The hotel gets long history, yet, the room has just been refurnished which is modern and cosy

If you have a car drive up to the mountain to visit the tea fields, 100 % worth it!

The reception lady is super nice, she welcomed us with a warm smile, answered all questions and offered information on the room and facilities, then walked us to the room. A very relaxing stay with in-room onsen, the public bath is good too. Breakfast is adequate, though more types of drinks could be offered in addition to coffee and green tea.

Ureshino is a country town we stayed in while traveling around japan. It was so simple, quiet and cute. It was the perfect spot in the middle of everything and the JR rail stations went everywhere so it was perfect. Bus stations are close, a lawsons down the street, and a train station close by.

This was one of my best stay in Japan. We were being hit by typhoon and the hotel was kind enough to offer the guests free lunch on the typhoon date, given that all restaurants were closed. It’s just curry but it’s the thoughts that matter. We really appreciate that. Both indoor and outdoor onsen were great, and you could enjoy free ice stick at the lounge outside the onsen.
