The comfy bed and pillow was a quality I rarely see in Japan. The size of the room was good, too.

Tachikawa is near the Air Force Base which is why we stayed there, with easy access (though anywhere from 40-80 minutes to get to downtown/east Tokyo tourist sites), very affordable and easy to navigate.

There is a lot to see from Tachikawa going further west along the various train lines and monorail into the mountains and along the river valleys. The region is at its best in good weather. It offers a slower pace and country outings. Takahatafudo a few stops on the monorail has the beautiful temple and lots of good eating and trad shops. Nearly every town along the Ome line has something unique to see. Mt.Takao is only a short train ride. Beautiful Showa Kinnen Koen is 10 minutes walk. etc.

A bustling city with everything you need for an evening or rainy day. There is a large park within ten minutes walk of the train station where you can relax without the sounds of the city.
A vibrant place indeed~
Tachikawa also has great access to other areas!
The room and the hotel were exceptionally clean and the shower easy to use. The location to pubs, restaurants trains and bus stops was convenient. The breakfast was reasonably priced and the food, although limited was enjoyable.
We lived in Kunitachi for 3 years, traveling bi-weekly to Tachikawa, so it was a thrill to be back! Thank you for being so central, and for securing a non-smoking room. I would love to come again with my husband!
We stayed for a single night.
The room was on the larger side for Japanese standards, very comfortable bed and good amenities.
Had a great nights sleep and the nice surprise of seeing Mt Fuji out the window.
The convenience of the location for the purpose of staying in Tachikawa. The place is clean, severe a very good breakfast, close to the station and monorail, staff very kind.
Perfect location to take train and go downtown Tokyo.front door and desk is open 24/7 so you don’t need to worry about what time to come back from your Tokyo exploring.
The stay was better than I thought. Japanese only speaking staff. Have Google translate handy. Very, very basic. Sketchy neighborhood but once inside it was all good.
