Friendly staff, and very convenient to have washer/dryer and kitchenette in the room.
Scanning the room card in the elevator auto selects the floor your room is on, which is a great feature.
I like how the disposable toothbrush and toothpaste have been separated. A disposable toothbrush is placed in your room on arrival, and small tubs of toothpaste can be taken as needed near the front desk. This is a nice way to reduce waste, because the toothbrush can be used multiple times.
I also like the "basic" daily room cleaning. Only rubbish is taken, and towels exchanged. This allows me to use the kitchen facilities without worrying about if we're accumulating too much trash (buying things from supermarkets can come with a lot of packaging).
The hotel is quite well located, with both Odori and Susukino stations within walking distance.
Offering direct access from JR Sapporo Train Station, JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo offers accommodations with free Wi-Fi and wired internet.

The room has a luxurious feel, and it is also more spacious than the standard hotel room in Japan. The bed is comfortable. They have a lounge area that provides free snacks in a certain period of time. The service is also excellent. They help to keep our 4 luggages when we travel to another city.

However the 4 toilets in Nakajima Park were shocking & appalling.
One of them is next to a Cafe with outdoor seatings & Children playground !!!
They smelled badly even last Mid- Nov'23.

Everything was close to everything, our hotel was like three minutes from the station. It was only 15 minutes to the mountain village where we saw cherry blossoms and a very nice zoo for 800 yen. It was a little bit cold and we were a few days late for the best cherry blossoms, but once we got settled it was a very nice 3 day visit. If you wanna eat good food for lunch you better do it before 2:00 PM because everything closes and then reopens at 5:00 PM. Nice restaurants we're closing by 8 PM. That was kind of strange.

I would love to go back and experience other seasons. Our timing was a little off because the ski parks are closed, it's not snowing, but there are no flowers/sakura yet. I would like to experience more.

A place to experience snow and a different architecture from the rest of Japan.
I was curious (still I am) about details in the history of this region that makes it quite different from other cities down south of Japan. The landscapes are excellent. People are polite and so kind towards foreigners/ non-japanese speakers. The overall impression made me really want to extend my stay there, or at least come back to revisit the place very soon.
I am not into skiing but this should be a great place for that activity, too.

Loved it !!!!!
Perfect for a short winter stay
Booked it because of the Queen concert and by chance it was the same week as the ice & snow festival
It was amazing!!!
I had a wonderful stay enjoying the city and the neighbourhood
Central area, great restaurants, cool atmosphere
Again : loved it 🥰
Excellent location, right next to Sapporo station, and close to city centre with restaurants. The rooms are not the most modern, but quite good overall and with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is a particular highlight of the hotel - there are two restaurants open for breakfast and the buffet downstairs has the largest selection I've ever come across in any hotel (a wide range of western, Japanese, Chinese and Korean foods, breads, pancakes, fruit etc). The staff are friendly and polite, the hotel was spotlessly clean.
Wow, the Sapporo Grand Hotel certainly is GRAND. It's in an amazing location, walkable to Sapporo Station via an underground walkway or streets, and about 15 minute walk from central attractions, and it is BEAUTIFUL. The staff were wonderful and very helpful when we arrived early as well as when we needed to get to the airport but the highways were shut down due to a storm. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, and it was wonderful having cafes and bars attached to the lobby. We would absolutely stay here again!
It was an unexpectedly excellent stay! The hotel is 2 minutes away from the train station, 4 minutes away from the limousine bus stop going to the airport and just few steps to the famous Odori Park. The room was clean and unexpectedly quiet. All guests during my stay was (I guess) been courteous enough to be quiet while inside their respective room/cabin. The shower area was great and was equipped with the necessary facilities. If in Sapporo, I would definitely be staying in this hotel. Highly recommended!
FOR ME, I AM LUCKY TO HAVE THIS HOTEL
every time i am at Sapporo. It offers a sufficient quad room for my family.
they can clean your room everyday or swap it with free tokens (like drinks)
food is good, and since i go here on winter season, the Sapporo park is just beside.
train station is also in front, bus to airport is just across and 24/7 food mart (like lawson & family) are nearby.
tho it is not at the city center, train is just across and few minutes away
The hotel is new, clean and convenient to shops and Shin Sapporo station. We like the separate bath and toilet. There is a mall next door and can get to the station side with a covered overpass. There is also a paid parking structure next door. There is also a bath in the hotel which was nice after a long day of sight-seeing. We chose this hotel as we didn't plan to drive into downtown Sapporo and it was a short drive to visit the Historical Village.
We love the location. We were on the 6th floor...a perfect height to view the Odori Park just in front of us. A large ceiling to floor window gave us a pretty picture of the falling snow. The size of room was comfortable for the 3 of us. The train station was very near..we could walk to Susukino and Sapporo train station comfortably. We didn't try the hotel facilities. We would definitely stay here again when we are in Sapporo.
The facilities are modern. Room space is compact yet well organized.
You are within walking distance from the sapporo tv tower and the fish market.
My suggestion is to begin your day by bathing in the onsen like bath facilities, followed by breakfast at the fish market. A perfect combination.
Bed leans towards the hard side but this is the standard across japan, not a peculiar thing about this hotel.
The location was perfect. Just a 5 minute walk in a straight line to Sapporo station and there’s also a convenience store across the road.
All staff members were extremely polite and friendly and they did their best to communicate with me in English. The hotel was also very quick at responding to my email requests and messages.
Housekeeping was prompt and thorough.
The breakfast was really really good, and the location is super convenient. The bottom floor of the hotel directly connects to the poletown mall which has a good selection of food and shopping as well as connections to other malls and two subway stations which connect to most lines, as well as only being two stops from Sapporo station which connects to the JR lines.
This was my fifth stay in Sapporo and my second time at the Vessel Inn. What we liked most is the amazing breakfast. The staff were very helpful providing ice packs and bandages for my wife after she fell on the icy street and broke her arm. The hotel is close to the subway, Nakajima Park and restaurants. The washing machines and dryers are helpful.
The staff is super helpful in helping to book some restaurants and I appreciate that! The room has a full-length bathtub which is nice. It also comes with an onsen in the basement. There is a Yamato luggage delivery service which is 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. There's also a convenience store just across the hotel.
We are impressed with this hotel from the moment we walked in. The room was clean and with in-room amenities. Our booking comes with daily buffet breakfast which has a good spread of food. The views from the dining room on level 13 was great. It is conveniently located close to the Sapporo JR station and Odori Park.
The hotel location is great. It's across the street of Nakajima Park exit 1 and the New Chitose airport bus stop is right outside of the hotel. It was an easy walk to Susukino and the famous ramen street. The hotel breakfast was as advertised. The room is kind of basic but sufficient for a comfortable stay.
Great location! The hotel is about 5 minutes away from Sapporo Station. Lawson was just across the hotel and a good restaurant was just beside it.
The winner though was the staff who was always gracious and helpful especially with our luggage transfers to Osaka.
Prime location, the Donguri bakery next door is an amazing place.
Easy to navigate to as the hotel is opposite of the Sapporo tower. Nice view of the Odori Park from the room.
The DAC/Amp unit inside the room was a nice surprise. Love the bidet setup as well.
The Keio Plaza Hotel was not too far from the Sapporo Train Station. Just walking distance & it was not too far from Odori Park & the Sapporo tower, shopping, & restaurants. Staff very friendly & accommodating. Rooms are spacious & clean.
The hotel was within walking distance to the Odori park and the Sapporo tower. There are many shops, conbini and restaurants around. I appreciated the little amenities bar on the 1st floor, especially the bath salts and the honey tea.
Proximity to Sapporo station using the underground passage. Exit 5 across the road has an elevator but Exit 7 which is the nearest to the hotel only as stairs.
It is very close to the Otori park.
Good location, less than 5 minutes walk from the closest subway Hosuisusukino. Walkable distance from hotel to Odori Park, which connects you to almost anywhere in Sapporo.
The location was great. We went to Sapporo for the snow festival and with the hotel being right on Odori park it was super easy to get anywhere from there.
