This small house is well-arranged and very well equipped. The sauna, the hot tub, the large screen TV, and the BBQ are a plus. The location is great: a lot of local restaurants, the black-sand beach, etc. are close by.
The garden with furnitures is very convenient and so comfortable with the morning sun.
Last but not least: the very easy and friendly communication with the owner!

This area by the coast is dedicated to surfing fun. Some of the beaches have been redone nicely in anticipation of the olympic surfing contests. The areas dedicated to fishing aren't as nice, but there are a lot of little spots. The surfing culture here shows up. It isn't odd to find foreigners here. The restaurants serve good hearty portions. There is a bit of a laid back feel to the area.

Close to the beach, will be home to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic surfing competitions. Very chill, somewhat rural area with lots of parking and space for surfers. A little windy out here!
Recommend staying at Coff Ichinomiya, and swinging by the Hula Cafe for a surfer stop and reasonable snack / light lunch.
