I have been stayed few same hotel in the different locals. The room always clean and space is ok. If you are travelling by couple please make sure you are booking the twin bed room which can have bigger bed size. Their bed is comforable and under bed can storage the luggage so whole room not look small and still have space to go. Good thing is they provide the breakfast, not much items but enough. This hotel breakfast room is pretty small so if you like to eat the breakfast must make sure you find the spot to sit before you take the food. selfserve laundry service and printing give traveller very convenience.
I accidently left my computer in the hotel and their stuff is friendly to send the courier to another Toyoko-inn hotel which I will stay another dayfor me even use the poor english to communicate but big help. Strong recommend this hotel.

It might not be for everyone, have to take one stop to Ofuna to transfer to other JR lines but very convenient visiting Kamakura and Enoshima. Plenty of stores around Fujusawa station for shopping. Airport bus to Narita and Haneda airports, although schedules not as frequent as pre-COVID check in advance.

Fujisawa is wonderful and relaxed, and we come here at least 3 times per year to get away from the city. It's so nice to be able to come and NOT rush, which is why we now always stay overnight. Otherwise it's too stressful to do and see things and then get back on a train to go home on the same day.
There ARE vegetarian and vegan-friendly places, but you have to find them. Use Happy Cow or another search engine to research before you come. Otherwise you'll be eating dinner at a convenience store (which isn't awful). Also, there aren't many places to eat breakfast unless you're ok with just a bakery.

Fujisawa is a beautiful city.
Fujisawa is a beautiful city. There’s something for everyone to enjoy whether you’re a city lover or a nature lover, you’ll find something fun and interesting to do. It’s not too far from Enoshima which is a great thing, it means you can access the beach by train in 10 minutes

We stayed in Enoshima, mainly to see the sights on the island. We didn't plan to spend much time on the beach - the facilities are basic and the sand and sea not too clean, but you could safely paddle and swim if you wanted to. Enoshima Island was interesting, the views from the tower and the rocks and caves were good. There were good views of Mount Fuji. There's not much else to see in Enoshima but Kamakura is close by train and definitely worth s day or two.

It's very smart to find a hotel in Fujisawa for the stay, if you may like to visit Kamakura area extensively for more days. I didn't plan any trip to visit and walk around in Fujisawa city, since Kamakura gathers so many interesting sightseeing venues there. In my views, Enoshima is just normal, so it is not necessary to list it into the must-be visiting, neither to buy the certain Pass the tourism office is promoting. If you may have spare time, just walk to visit it and climb up the not-so-high hill.
It was a cozy, comfortable and quiet hotel with free parking. I liked the peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, wonderful bath and shower with many amenities for comfort. The bed was comfortable and having a microwave and refrigerator made it very convenient for a long stay. I extended and ended up being there 4 nights. It was especially nice having the free drink bar. I think on weekends it becomes one free drink and then a small fee for continued use until midnight. I would be happy to stay there again and would recommend it to friends.
We stayed here for 11 nights. It was very comfortable. The heater was in good condition and kept us warm and toasty after spending most of the day outside feeling cold. They have a complete set of toiletries located near the elevator. A Lawson store is attached to the hotel so you don’t need to go out if you need to buy something. Also just a short walk to and fro the station. They also have a 24-hour coin laundry. Very, very convenient.
Everything was great and will definitely consider this hotel again in the future!
The location of the property was ideal - right on the main walking street heading up to the temples. The staff was fabulous - very gracious. The facility was lovely. It was simple and I liked that not everything was modernized or replaced as soon as it was outdated. There was appreciation for both history and function. We loved that our name was written on the outside of the property in English and Japanese, as a kind of welcome.
Enjoy the views from the room, as well as the bath in the cave and the roman.
The staff was very friendly and very attentive since they gave me clothes in my size without me asking, which was very comfortable.
The restaurant food was delicious and had good portions.
Im a foreigner but they made me feel welcome so my experience at the hotel was very good
We had a BIG room only for us, typical japanese tatami style, with shower and bathroom.
The little courtyard is beautiful and cozy, you can eat/drink/rest outside as there are some little tables. The parking is very convenient. The location is perfect, not far from Enoshima beach or Kamakura but not in the middle of the crowd.
Breakfast was very good. (So long as you like traditional Japanese breakfast with fish, pickels etc.)The ham side dish and the refillable drink bar for orange juice, soda etc was great.
The location of this ryokan couldn't be closer to all the main attractions and transport.
Our room over looked the beach in Japanese room. Room had beds on the ground on proper mattress and was comfortable. Two chairs and table near the window overlooking the beach. Small onsen was also in the hotel, yakatas and slippers provided for use.
Very nice hotel, extremely good location as it is close to the station. We went to Fujisawa and Enoshima by train and it was handy. The breakfast was EXCELLENT. The staff at breakfast were very nice, very well organised situation.
Great value for price. Close to Fujisawa Station, restaurants, and night life. If it's bad weather there are restaurants in the basement and Saizeriya on the 2nd floor. There are sento (public baths) available and very relaxing.
The staff was so very friendly and helpful! I really felt welcome when I came back to the hotel and they greeted me with a warm smile. I have tried to stay here before but it has been full. Will certainly be coming back!
This is my favorite place to stay in Fujisawa! The home is very new and the host has filled it with great extras like a coffee machine and everything you could possibly need for a lovely stay.
The beds and pillows here were the #1 most comfortable I've experienced during my 1-month trip around Japan. Location is perfect, room was clean and not outdated, friendly staff.
Only good thing is the location.
This was 3rd time I stay there but will not stay and will not recommend to my friends.
The hotel has been down graded.
Maybe a different owner ?
The location is good - close to Fujisawa station, shopping and restaurants. very compact room, but spotless and with everything you need. The hotel also has a nice public bath.
