Hiking and taking a Jeep Tour around Wadi Rum are amazing experiences. My favorite part is the different colors of the sand and the bridge. However, as there's no fixed trail for the jeep, the sands are full of wheel marks, which kind of ruin the whole view of the desert. Overall, it is so beautiful; it feels like being on another planet.

For those who like silence, privacy and are happy to let go off their screentime this place is just right. If you decide to take your car, an SUV would be ideal on the sandy/rocky surface. There are some do-able hikes even with kids. The place looks like a totally different planet with unique rock formations and red sand till as far as you can see. Star gazing is magical as there isnt much light around.....!

Fascinating place, so beautiful and peaceful, but also a lot of plastic litter everywhere and a surprising amount of traffic (tourists doing jeep rides).
Imagining that people have lived and thrived here for millennia without electricity is humbling.
We spent only one night in Wadi Rum but it was the highlight of our trip in Jordan. Thanks to Awad, we had the chance to explore Wadi Rum, ride a camel and sleep in a Bedouin camp. Not only the view was mind blowing, but our host was kind, funny and share with us a lot of history about Jordan and his culture. During the night, we had a delicious dinner in the camp and spent the rest of the evening talking around the fire. It was a beautiful and rich experience. Hussein was a wonderful host and Jihad a wonderful guide. Upon arrival Hussein asked what we wanted to do while we were there and made sure we could do everything. Stargazing, a sunrise camel tour, a Jeep tour through Wadi Rum and wonderful Bedouin lunches, dinners and coffee-making by the camp fire. The desert in Wadi Rum is something different altogether. We felt so peaceful there, all stress just dissapears. It's a very different (and more magical) experience than the desert of Wadi Musa in my opinion.

The staff is very welcoming. From the moment they greet you with the pick-up truck until the moment you check out, the smiles and true Jordanian hospitality really create a lovely stay. If you discover anything that is not to your liking, tell them immediately so they can make it right. They want your stay to be perfect. The camp is tucked into the surrounding rocks which makes for a very unique experience. We have stayed at the UFO properties and this is a much more intimate desert experience.
Staying at Stardust camp was the highlight of my trip to Jordan. Majed (owner) and his brother were extremely friendly and provided us with a very wholesome, authentic experience in Wadi Rum. From a tasty local Jordinian dinner, to a 4x4 tour in the desert, star gazing, to playing games at night drinking tea, you will never run out of activities. Extremely peaceful place that will clear your mind - plus a cozy tent with beautiful fabric and very very clean bathroom.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Jordan Desert Camp and it was an experience I will never forget. The tour through the desert with a jeep was incredible, our guide was excellent and gave us an in-depth understanding of the area. The host was very welcoming and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Three days in Wadi Rum were definitelly the best part of our Jordan trip. Wadi Rum is unbeliavable magical place with many interesting places to see, desert cruising with a jeep is a amazing adventure. Our guide was friendly guy and he liked to joke so the day was full of fun. Nights in a bedouin camp with stars overhead,when the nature went to sleep and there was complete silence all around was the unforgettable moment for the rest of our lives. David and Nikol.

Best experience we had in Jordan. The camp is small and placed in a beautiful corner of the Wadi Rum desert. The size of the camp gives you an intimate feeling and Rashid and Sabah made sure we had an amazing time. We took a full day jeep tour and saw all the main highlights of the desert. Campfires at night when the weather is good, and drinking tea and playing games when a sandstorm hits. It felt like home!
We stayed one night at the Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp and it was one of the highlights of our time in Jordan. The communication before our stay was excellent and they helped us with transfers after our stay. The camp is beautiful, with great views across the desert, and our room was really comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic and plentiful! We loved our camel ride and jeep tour. Highly recommend!
We had the best guide in wadi rum Ahmed. His brothers and he are running an amazing place. The camp is far from others which gives you the real desert experience. Ahmed went all out of the typical tour to really explain and show us things about the desert and Bedouin customs. We travelled all around Jordan and of all trips being there was the best of all. We loved everything about our stay with Raed in Wadi Rum Bedouin camp. Wadi Rum is so spectacular and we had an amazing jeep tour and sunset. Raed and the other staff were incredibly nice and hospitable. the food was plentiful, but not haut Cuisine but exactly as we expected. Hot showers and good bathroom facility. For sure our most spectacular spot in Jordan.
