When you imagine that you travel to a friends who lives at the village in Europe, what would you expect? Probably village life, which is different than the one in the city. What would you expect when you travel to desert? Probably much less confortable place than you can find here at MalakoRum. Very confortable rooms, european type of toilet, hot shower (we vere there just at the end of calendar year - so in winter time). Wow and such delicious dinner freshly cooked by the hosts. The stay for us was like visiting friends who moved to desert to farm there. So we expected animals around, and we loved it. When you see beduins next the desert streets they have also animals around. So the experience from the desert life was way more much authentic then the games played to tourist elsevere. We expected and loved that touch of authenticity. Jo was very kind all the time to explain all the things we were curious about - desert life,geology, history etc. and she turn to be very rich well of knowledge. She offered us a hiking tour in the mountains around and it was unexpectedly experience with a little climbing at the top of near hill top with wonderful view. Jafar may seem to be harsh and bitter, as the desert fruit are, on the first glance. But when you let to know him a little bit more you will find the cool and broad hearted man you can love. We had four-wheeler car so we wanted to travel more in desert, but without any experience of desert ride. Jo and Jafar helped us to plan our little desert trip, just for the time we had. That trip was also wonderful experience which we would have not undergo without the help of our "desert" friends. Thank you for encouraging and helping.

This was the perfect place to have a desert / bubble tent / out of this world experience. There's only four tents available and all in one row, making it very private, peaceful and quiet. This gets you unobstructed views of the desert, night sky and mountains which was a far cry from some of the other resorts I've seen where they had bubble tents stacked in several rows and to me this defeats the purpose of having a panoramic window available. The location is far from the main town which is perfect for stargazing and astrophotography and we even managed to capture the milky way at night. There's no cut off times of power and water like the other places we looked at and the transportation to and from the camp was also included. Breakfast was included and we opted for the dinner at night also, the food was good and plentiful, all tea, coffee, soft drinks and water was included throughout our stay and our tours. The rooms are standard, very clean and had everything you needed. Eid was an amazing, generous and passionate host, offering a fair price on the jeep tours, we opted for the day and a half tour which was almost the same price as some of the other public tours but ours was private and it was customized to what we wanted to do. Overall, I would highly recommend this place as I think this gets you the true experience of staying in a desert with a hint of luxury. Our host was amazing and made sure we had a wonderful time and made the experience even better, he put no pressure on us to do anything that we didn't want to do and he even got us local prices for some of the things we wanted to get. This was a truly memorable trip that I don't think we would've come close to receiving with some of the alternative resorts.

We loved our stay here and would return again! A highlight was breakfast- best omelettes and fried eggs we’ve had in a hotel (pancakes were tasty as well). Overall the breakfast buffet was also much better than other locations we stayed in Jordan (which were more central eg Dead Sea)- amazed with the spread in such a remote location.

Fantastic location in Wadi Rum, a great stay! Hassan was an incredible host, from booking to getting to the accommodation he was more than happy to help, we had a great tour around Wadi Rum with Hassan, he really is a top host.

Amazing location with unobstructed view by other camps! Very chilled place and great choice at the buffet both for dinner and breakfast.

Once you visit salamh place and + experience his hospitality you'll never !forget After you'll arrive, your host will serve you a tea. Warmly and truly speaking about his ancestors and big family. We got "tent", which looks exactly like those you can see on the pictures. Everything clean and all appliances and hardware works perfectly. Toilet and shower super clean If there is anything you miss in the desert Rum titanic staff will provide it for you We took 6 hours long jeep tour over the Wadi Rum desert. Al that time ran so fast that we would more appreciate whole day tour. Definitely recommending as long trip as possible. Desert is quite big and car stops every 20-30 minutes. In the evening beduins kindly offers you tea, coffee etc. Our night host - ayman, salamh brother - took us in the middle of the night to the center of rock formations. There he created a small campfire and .showed us nice star gazing After all when we arrived we found our back wheel tire flat. Once we finished our stay at Rum titanic. salam and his family .fixed our tire for us :

Experience of a lifetime! If you are planning to get to Wadi Rum more than I highly recommend this camp, the facilities are amazing, the food is amazing and the staff are wonderful Activities available include stargazing, jeep rides and camel tours, all made easy by the wonderful guides The atmosphere at night is quiet and relaxing with a cafe to enjoy tea and coffee while stargazing The camp is like no other in the area and for a complete immersion in Wadi Rum it is worth the investment
