The area is not providing a lot of amenities or restaurants/supermarkets, so a car is definitely needed. The area is clean, the sea is wondeful, but do not forget to take shoes to wear when you go to swim ( lots of stones ).
Nice accommodation in Zambrone! Spacious room with balcony, always clean as the cleaning service was done daily. The breakfast was always served in a bar across the road. I see as the biggest advantage that everything was closed - small supermarket, shop, train station, restaurants, beaches, and also pharmacy. We had a problem to get to Zambrone and Fabio, the owner, was so kind that he drove to Parghelia to pick us up.
The apartment was very clean and very modern. It is a large apartment on the ground floor with a garden to the front. Location was fine with a car and both Tropea and Pizzo were within 25 minutes drive. The village of Zambrone has 2 restaurants. Bed/linen and kitchen facilities were good. Tony our host (and family) were very attentive to our needs. We enjoyed our stay.
The pool was amazing (though you have to wear swim cap), the hotel is easily accessible from the railway station, the apartment was clean and included all amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. The view from the solarium is breathtaking and even though the climb is quite steep (as it is everywhere on the coast), the beaches are very close. Try the gin lemon.

It is an advantage to have the car, but even withou the car, there are possibilities, as the train station is very close, little bit uphill. Nice, friendly staff.
The penthouse is really spacious. We loved the terrace and the swimming pool with a beatiful view at the sea. The residence is located really close to the train station and its easy to get to Tropea and another destinations in a few minutes. A beatiful beach Marinella di Zambrone is in a walking distance.

The hotel is situated up the hill from a dedicated private beach. Very convenient with parking and a shuttle. The family that runs the hotel is very nice. The room rates are also very fair. The restaurant food is good. The hotel is dog friendly too!
The property is located right on an absolutely gorgeous beach! The hotel provided us with beach chairs and an umbrella. The pool is small but beautiful, when we were able to use it. And it is a very short drive into Tropea.
Absolute stunning location! Loved the room. The beach is also perfect! You get your own beds on the beach for as long as you stay. That’s a big plus. Lots of great tours to book at the hotels reception.
