Michele and his wife were perfect hosts. They kindly accommodated my late check in due to a delayed flight and were super communicative the entire check-in process and stay. The apartment was beautiful, clean, spacious and cozy. I really appreciated that they provide all the basics you need for cooking - pots/pans, olive oil, salt, pepper, and plenty of dishes. There was even a drip coffee maker! The bed was super comfy. The shower and wifi were great, both unusual for Italy :) The porch with the view of Lake Trasimeno was sublime. I love the area - it's a quiet and underappreciated part of Italy.

We were so pleasantly surprised when we entered the apartment. We expected spartan accommodations, but the apartment is warmly furnished and very inviting. The rooms are spacious and the bedrooms are pretty and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is nicely equipped and cheery.A real plus is the large veranda with a swing for two. The ladies who greeted us were so warm and welcoming that we felt right at home. We would definitely stay there again. 10/10.

You find everything there. Boat trip, hiking, sight seeing, amazing restaurants and food markets, cool shops to shopping. Tuoro sul Trasimeno is at the border of Tuscany and Umbria. You need min. 7 busy days there just to see a very little from this mismerizing area!

A great place to stay between San Gimignano and Perugia. The typical Italian apartment has a large bedroom, generous bathroom, well provisioned kitchen with large fridge and a pleasant deck with a small view of delightful Lake Trasimeno - a 10min drive away. Alvaro has little English but a great desire to make your stay pleasant. Unfortunately the WiFi could not be accessed by as the Network did not show on our devices and only flashed for one second on Alvaro's phone.

The lake is great
We hired a car from the airport but the owners run a taxi too so the transport is not an issue also the is a great transport system all of this is in the brochure provided by Fabitzio.
We did not have any young children but there is stacks of activities for them to enjoy all around the area especially around the lake which also runs a ferry service to the lakes islands where there are restaurants very reasonably priced for quality food, there is also it is fantastic for ever age of traveller with unbelievable scenery and facilities.

Everything was just absolutely amazing. On arrival to this beautiful secluded house, we were stunned by the views. The house has been sympathetically transformed. We had a lovely welcome gift of sunflowers, wine and biscuits. The owners are such gracious kind people and went above and beyond for us.
The house is near to a fantastic supermarket. It is a good location for lots of places to visit.
We will be back. We can't thank the owners enough.
Everything. Room was very comfortable and B&B was located on top of hill with fantastic view from our terrace on lago Transimeno. Very nice swimming pool as well. Very friendly welcome by B&B owner who gave us interesting info about nice places to visit and paper with list of recommended restaurants . We tried 3 of them and the food was exceptional.
We visited fabulous Assisi (not that far with express way) and beautiful Cortona.
We attended a wedding at Villa Baroncino. This was a great base. Plenty of space. Could spread ourselves. Make lunch or brekkie if we wanted. Loved going to the Joker Bar for brekkie- absolute bargain. Worth walking up into town. Patrizio and Maria excellent- went above and beyond. So helpful. Everyone in the village was lovely. It isn’t luxurious. It isn’t a hotel. It’s a home. We loved it.
Everything, we liked absolutely everything about our stay at La Poventa. Patrizio was super helpful, picked us up & dropped us off at the train station, organised an hairdresser for the Mrs as we were attending a wedding & showed us some sights. La Poventa comes highly recommended by us - thank you Patrizio x

Pools (in and out) are very nice, internal is heated, external not but really nice.
Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and… stars on the ceiling when you turn off the light!
The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood.
Very nice place, we were on bike trip on the lake near accomodation. Apartment is beautiful and there are everything what do you need, even suncream;) Very kindly owner.
