The breakfast was good and I enjoyed that you could make your own fruit and vegetable juice and there was a good variety to choose from. My room was big and I like the recycle concept throughout the hotel. It felt modern but in keeping of the area. I would definitely stay here again if in Tirano. The staff were helpful and approachable

Wednesdays in April are not good when wanting a decent evening meal, very little choice but Friday night much better as everyone was open. Merizzi by the station on the corner of the main road does fantastic good.

Tirano was a lovely little town.
Tirano was a lovely little town. Quaint streets and alleyways called to be explored. Unfortunately very poor communication about no train service meant we missed connecting trains which cost us additional money.

We enjoyed wandering around the older parts of town. The cathedral was beautiful and open to view inside. The entire town is walkable, no need to hire a car. There was a variety of places to eat and drink. The location of the train station made it easy to come and go.

Tirano is a very nice town.
Tirano is a very nice town. It is very well connected with other parts of Italy by train. Also, the main attraction is the Bernina Express, which departs hourly from the Swiss Train Station, which is opposite the TrenItalia train station. I would recommend a day in Tirano, to get to know the town.

What a gorgeous little town right by the rushing river.
What a gorgeous little town right by the rushing river. Fascinating buildings and great food ( had a great pizza at LETI DI PILONI AXEL by the station. Only stayed overnight after coming from Chur on the Bernina line then on to Rome but could easily have spent a week here. Everything walkable.

Lovely town in the valley, surrounded by beautiful wooded mountains. The old town is great and the connection to the Rhaetian Railway and the beautiful Bernina line are not to be missed!

When we travel to Switzerland from Italy, we always stay in this hotel. We already stayed twice here and we really enjoy this place. Clean, comfortable, spacious, tasty breakfast. Walkable distance from the main train and bus station. The staff is super helpful and nice! Definitely recommend.
Both times we stayed in Antica Residenza, we came quite late. And the staff is always very helpful. They either waited for us or left all the necessary details for easy self-check in. We are really very grateful for how they treat their clients.
We had such a lovely time staying at this B&B! Lori was the most amazing host — our train came in later than we expected, and she was waiting for us with food and drinks when we arrived. We wanted to take the Bernina Express to Switzerland in the morning, and she was so helpful as we were buying tickets (she even drove us to the train station in the morning)! Breakfast was great, and the apartment was so cute and cozy. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in Tirano!
We could not be more pleased with our staty at this apartment. It had a great location very close to the train station and also great facilities as a well-equipped kitchen, Nespresso machine, washing machine, tv with Netflix and much more. It was also very clean and the presentation of linnen, towels, soap etc gave a hotel-like feeling. The host was very kind and helpful with everything. If ever getting back to Tirano, this will be our first hand choice.
Bernadetta was incredibly welcoming, with wine and charcuterie awaiting, which was perfect after our drive from Milan. Our place was pristine with very thoughtful detail. We slept like a dream in the bed.  Conveniently located within walking distance to the Bernina/train station, piazza, dining, shopping. Highly highly recommend if you are staying in Tirano – you will feel right at home! 
Location (15 mins walks from Tirano train station), flat is big and it has everything you need. Bed is very comfortable. Patrizia is very nice and she does everything to make you feel at home (she also helped us booking a table in a lovely bistrot, we had an amazing dinner!). Thank you so much, we will definitely come back next time we are in Tirano.
Fantastic, comfortable place to spend a few nights. All rooms are very spacious and kitchen is well equipped. Warm in winter and house was very clean. Fantastic host was friendly, easy to contact and even gave recommendations for the things to do in Tirano. House is within walking distance of the train station (~10 minutes)
As we arrived on the late bernina express we stayed overnight in tirano for the return journey the following morning so this was a perfect location literally 2 mins walk from train station.
Staff extremely friendly and a good quality breakfast the next morning.
Very good value for money
The hotel is conveniently located to both train stations, restaurants, and a grocery store. It works well for a one-night stop-over. The bed was a bit hard for our tastes, but others might like it. Breakfast was very generous. We would choose this small hotel again if passing through.
This hotel is a real gem, the pictures do not show the full extent of this hotels charm. The hotel has so much architecture yet finished to a very high standard with a very modern twist. The staff could not have been more helpful or freindly. short walk from the train station.
The hotel staff were welcoming and the hotel is located within a few minutes walk of Tirano Railway Station which is ideal for anyone looking to catch the Bernina Express. Also within 10 minutes walking distance of the local supermarket as well as shops, bars and restaurants.
Room themes are innovative. also room size compared to a lot of Italien hotel room was plenty big for two persons. Because the studios belong to nearby Hotel Bernina the breakfast is taken in Hotel and was incredibly good range on offer to compare with other Italien stays!
The hotel is very clean. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and willing to help. The breakfast is a very good quality and centrally located. Also able to go from the hotel to the Tirano FR, and Tirano Trenord stations by foot (~15 mins walk)
This place is so beautiful, convenient very close to the train station. We love how clean and the size of the place it's like a complete house. You will feel at home and the facilities in this place was above average. Highly recommended!
It is just in front of the Tirano train station and I followed the instruction from the host. Everything turn out easy. The room and its facilities are not fancy but function well. Wifi has good speed.
Beautiful town of Tirano, with Hotel Bernina in the perfect location. We were travelling on the Bernina Express (not to be missed) and the station is across the plaza, in eye sight.
The owner was extraordinary, very cooperative and reachable at all times. The area was very good with everything you might need including food. Very close to train station.
