The location was perfect & the view from the hotel was just beautiful. Our room was very welcoming when we returned from visiting the old town & seaside In Sperlonga., this was mostly due to the air conditioning & comfortable bed. The staff were friendly & very helpful. We sat out on the lovely little porch one evening & it was just perfect for watching the Sun go down .

The B&B Sperlonga was fantastic. We absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting this beautiful town. It was clean, and the location was great. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

A fantastic location in the old town with a wonderful panoramic terrace with incredible views. Aperitivo every night watching the sun set. Comfy beds and excellent air con in bedrooms and lounge. The apartment had everything we needed including barbecue. Very useful that they include lovely large beach towels with the linen. Serena and Rocco who run the agency were very helpful, communicative and friendly. Grazie mille

A lovely little village where most of the tourists are Italian, so you don't have to hear your native language from every other person you come across and the experience is not a "tourist trap". After the hustle and bustle of Rome, it was wonderful to come here and get a peace and quiet and swim in the sea.
Lots of restaurants, it's worth making a table reservation for the weekend
A week's trip might be too long unless you just like to lie on the beach

Sperlonga had beautiful beaches and ample options to rent...
Sperlonga had beautiful beaches and ample options to rent beach chairs for the day. The town had many different options for lunch and dinner and a really full and comprehensive market. The train station is 20 minutes from the town and there are no shuttles that go into town, so make sure you have your transportation figured out as that was a challenge for us. Sperlonga is extremely walkable and has a beautiful section of the town on top of the hill. You have to climb about 200 steps to get up there but it is breathtaking once you reach the top. It is easy to see why Italians choose to vacation in this spot!

If you want to visit here during the off-season like we did, understand that most of the restaurants close after lunch during this time of year. We came in mid-January. Obviously, it will be too cold to enjoy swimming in the beach. But walking around the historic centre was very nice. It was nice that there were so few people in the town during our time there. I would recommend it, if you are into that sort of thing. It was a great chance to take some nice pictures and videos without a lot of people, and/or crowds. There was only one restaurant open for dinner, that our Hotel recommended to us. We tried to find other options, but there were none. Also, the Villa of Tiberius is closed on Monday and Tuesdays.

We were looking for a beach stay not far from Rome. Sperlonga is 2 hours south of Rome. I highly recommend this beautiful beach community. It’s quiet, with a lovely street of shops and restaurants. But it’s all about relaxing on the beach.

If you like to travel and immerse yourself in the culture of a country, Villa Epi is the place to stay. Marco, the host speaks English, the vacationers are local people from surrounding areas in Italy. We ate a local restaurants. Getting around Sperlonga was challenging because Villa Epi is on the outskirts of the town, however Marco is at your service. He will bring you to the town, pick you up, free of charge.

Located close to downtown Sperlonga, with a short walk to the beach and supermarket. The hotel is huggggge - we had a room in the second building, so a bit of a walk to the pool, but not a major issue. Pool has daylight sun all day, room was clean and serviced daily, and included complimentary water and soft drink. Breakfast buffet had heaps of options (never seen so many cakes!), with great espresso.
There is a shuttle to the hotels private beach.
Some of the staff were some friendly, some not so much - but no major issue.
Would recommend.
Just under a week spent here, the location of the apartments are a big draw being close to the old town and the beach with great view over the sea. The apartment was a good size and clean and the host was helpful and contactable if needed. There was the ability to use the facilities at the local beach which was a good. It's not a cheap apartment but overall we were glad we chose to stay there. Sperlonga is well worth a visit and much nicer than some more popular and overcrowded locations
Our host was great - helpful and cheerful. We got some extra help with the car (thank you!), a tour of the property, info about restaurants and how to get around. He even overcame the language barrier with a smile and Google Translate. The apartment is newly renovated, clean and convenient. The coffee is the quality you'd expect in Italy.
A beautiful hotel in every respect. The photos do not do it justice and we could not fault the hotel in any way. Perfect location right by the sea with its own private beach, beautiful room, characterful hotel set in wonderful gardens, attentive friendly service and spotlessly clean. We will definitely return.
High standard modem hotel with friendly and helpful staff and a most enjoyable breakfast. Short walk or shuttle to the beach where the facilities are good
The restaurant food was also very good
