The hotel service was very poor, the breakfast was poor and limited, and we were treated like refugees.

We had a good 1-night stopover at La Gustea Hotel on our way from Sicily to Milan. The hotel is very nice and clean and the hosts are such friendly and nice people, who gave us, and our dogs, a warm welcome upon arrival. The room is spacious, with a contemporary design and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the balcony towards the castle is beautiful. The room comes with a nice and big bathroom. Location is good, only a short walk to the historical village centre. The hotel offers good and safe parking.
Set in beautiful surroundings, Hotel Villa Il Patriarca is an ideal setting for a romantic break. Relax in the outdoor swimming pool and enjoy beautiful views across the countryside.
Hotel is well equipped with everything needed. Tere is spacious swimming pool and decent restaurant. We stayed at the apartment in annex building about 150 metres from main hotel building. It has its own parking space which is very useful concerning many guests in main building. Breakfast was rich and included sweets as well as salted elements (it is necessary to ask for salties). Montepulciano is about 4-5 km from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful in every occasion.
Definitely hire a car if possible. We opted to use public transport and although the bus station is situated directly outside the accomodation, buses only run on the hour and you are limited to the places that the buses take you which is a shame in Tuscany. The hotel breakfast is lovely and the staff are friendly. The pool is clean and has day beds. There is a lovely restaurant down the driveway which I recommend not to miss!
Villa Ambra is located about 10 minutes from Montepulciano, in a very quiet area. The loudest were the doves which woke us up every morning. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, and at breakfast we had a wide variety to choose from.
Also the food in the restaurant in the hotel and the restaurant next door is really recommendable.
The hotel is nice and easy to find. The breakfast is very good maybe to much sweet food. They make food on order but they make just one tip od egg and if you ask if they can make for kids it different is no the answer. The hotel is very modern and the stuff is nice. they have diner all card and is good.
The staff are sympathetic and they try to help you during your stay. The breakfast was awesome. If you have a car the localisation of the hotel is great to stay close to Montepulciano. There is a restaurant in the hotel and I have a feeling that the food should be very delicious over there.
The hotel has ample parking spaces, a nice swimming pool, a bar and a restaurant with an outside terrace and good WiFi. Friendly staff. The room was clean and had a balcony. Although it has a garden and (at least our room) a nice view, the hotel lacks charm.
we were a group with two rooms in the hotel and the apartment close by, myself and my partner with the kids stayed in the apartment and we liked it a lot especially for the price we paid, the kitchen is very basic but enough for a short period.
Maurice, Andrea and other staff were great
Towels were very plush, a nice treat after our previous hotels, nice room, great view, comfortable beds
Great location, we had a rental car
Great breakfast
Would highly recommend
Great location. Boutique hotel with an elevator and good parking. Restaurant served delicious pasta and the best gnocchi we have had on this trip to Tuscany. We had a balcony and enjoyed the sunset over Montepulciano.
Bed were good. Room was clean. They have free parking. Pool is huge Breakfast have yummy amazing handmade things. Staff is so nice. Location is great. the hotel has a winery too. they do wine tasting and sell wine.
The hotel is in a quiet part of St Albino, though I expected it to be closer to Montepulciano, it was OK(ish), but only by car. Rooms were clean and tidy, the hotel also provided a nice welcome present.
