In general Como Lake is very beautiful, there are lots of great walks in nature along the lake shore or above the villages in the mountains. The Villas (Carlotta, Balbianello for instance) have stunning gardens and art pieces. Great shopping in Menaggio at La Bottega di Camilla (silk scarf at great prices and many lovely models). Great delicious perfect Pizza at Constantin's in via Camozzi in Menaggio.

Nice place, although the two closest restaurants were awful, especially Creme Caramel were they served a raw egg on a pizza and refused to cook it more!! Da Luigi was disappointing with a poor standard of cooking, over or under cooked pasta and terribly dry lasagna, also we were recommended a ridiculously expense bottle of wine, although we declined and never returned.
Trattoria Pizzeria Dei Platani is far superior, excellent pizza the best on Lake Como! Food always fantastic with friendly helpful staff. Visited there a couple of years ago, received high standards every time. Throughly recommend a visit or two!
This hotel is a little gem on the shore of lake como. Our rooms were very comfortable. A/C worked splendidly. The bedding was luxurious and beds were very comfortable. The reception was extremely welcoming. There was one waiter at dinner that was quite charming and funny, i wish I had gotten his name. The menu was large, and food was delicious. The location was away from much activity, but lovely gardens and easy beach access. A classic. And lots of parking.
This place is absolutely fantastic, if you like getting away from the crowds, up a mountainside, to a small centuries old village with its own duomo and even an outdoor restaurant with amazing views. Probably the best part of the place was the owners, Carlo and Giulia. They were so friendly and just wanted us to have a great time. They (and the place) were authentic, real people and special. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.
The place is so charming, very cute. Clean and tidy, and the owner was really kind and helpful, he recommended many places to visit so that our holiday was unforgettable, the view is breathtaking, you really dont have to wonder about stay there, the only thing I have to mention is that the way to this place is very winding but if you will be careful is easy to climb, best regards ♥️🌸
Great spacious apartment with a stunning view from the balcony and through several windows. Claudio and family were very friendly hosts who also gave us a ‘welcome basket’ full of Italian things when we arrived. There’s a reserved parking spot which is close to the apartment, which is convenient as well. The apartment had all we needed during our stay, definitely good value for money!
You had the whole floor to yourself. 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and livingroom. All very clean and organized. The view is beautiful from the balcony and the beach was within 5/10 minutes walking distance. Small supermarket, few restaurants and busstation in the street. Everything you need at this place!

The owners were so nice and helpful, i think we are very lucky too book this stay. The smell there was soo good and too look outside the balcony and see the lake and mountains it was beautiful!! I would 110% recommend this place!
Amazing views and outside space, peaceful, with plenty of seating, barbecue and hot tub ready to use. We loved it so much, we decided to spend a day in the garden instead of going to the nearby town. Well equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and bedroom with the best views.
The location and hotel room were exceptional, spectacular view of Lake Como from our room and balcony!! The staff was very friendly and helpful even though we do not speak Italian they made every effort to make sure our stay was outstanding. Highly recommend Hotel Sole!!

Absolutely amazing. Probably the prettiest vacation house I’ve been to! You can self check in and the host was very friendly. The jacuzzi is the best type there is, as well as the bathroom and kitchen supplies.
Everything the location, garage parking for the motorcycles ,the food was excellent would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay there again
