Albergo Genzianella is located only 33 feet from the ski bus stop which links to the Marmolada slopes and Alleghe. It offers rooms overlooking the mountains.

Very clean hotel, spacious rooms, good homemade meals and very pleasant staff.
Sometimes a little far from some hikes but with so many positive aspects, we still think this hotel is a safe choice! We highly recommend this place.
This Alpine-style hotel offers a peaceful location with beautiful views of the Dolomites, 1.6 mi from the center of Rocca Pietore.

Excellent breakfast, I loved the fruit option, which I usually miss in hotel breakfasts. A very cozy common room with couches and a fireplace. The owners' lovely doggo. A lot of parking space.

The location was quite beautiful and calm as the way we wanted it. Breakfast was good but could have been better, don't want to sound like complaining.
Had good experience with SPA as well
The river path repairs are almost finished after the 2018...
The river path repairs are almost finished after the 2018 storm damage. Great location to jump on the Sella Ronda or just enjoy winter or summer activities in the Mountains. Not particularly a destination in itself just a nice place to come back to after a mountain excursion. Pre-COVID there were plenty of dining options, now not so much. Local restrictions prevent dining or take out after 1800, unless you're in a hotel that has a restaurant.

Nice place with lake and big, high hills arround.
Nice place with lake and big, high hills arround. Because of hills directly after the apartments a little bit less sunshine during the day. So deep walley... Bad connection to main highways, so no exactly italian turist center, with a little bit quiet atmosphere.
Ellena was the best host I ever met, she was helpful in every situation and very kind. The room was super clean every day and cozy, very modern, and better than in the photos. Breakfast was also great, everyday fresh and different kinds of food. The hotel is situated in the best place to start hikes on the mountains around.
PS: for road cyclists - from this area, you can go on various passes around such as Fedaia, Giau, Pordoi, Falzarego, Valparola, and many more.
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean, nice and great value for money. Rooms are spacious with clean showers and towels every day. The owner is really nice ( his dog too 😀). There's a nice "family" mood. Breakfast is awesome and you should try dinner with 3 dishes too.
There's space for skis and a dedicated room for ski boots so they are dry and warm in the morning.
Ski bus stop is 50m from hotel.
I really liked our stay and would come back anytime!
The house is located in new and silent part of Rocca Pietore just 5 minutes from Caprile and under 30 minutes from Passo Giau and Passo Falzarego and that was exactly why we chose this appartment. Our host, Ilario, was very kind and friendly. Everything was perfect. The appartment we had (a Squirell) is a bit small but fully sufficient for a couple all day outside, returning only for sleep.
A beautiful small family-run hotel with a very helpful and professional staff (huge thanks to Marco for his invaluable support with everything); spacious, cozy, clean rooms, excellent food, and tons of delicious pastries. Free parking. Ski bus stops directly in front of the hotel. The location is a little isolated - it is better to have a car.
It is conveniently located between two great hiking areas, Civetta and Marmolada. The hotel has a large parking lot. A pizzeria is conveniently located across the street. This hotel is very reasonably priced. The reception has hiking maps and brochures. It was my second stay here. Both times I was completely satisfied.
1. The breakfast is great and the dishes from their small menu are also really good.
2. The views from the hotel are nice.
3. The hotel is “cute.” Lots of old, but nice decor and interesting style.
4. Free parking
5. Nice family rooms.
6. Sauna included, but we didn’t get to try it.
Close to gondola to marmolada. We were in the apartment, but were offered dinner at the hotel. It was elegant dining and delicious and felt a little out of place because all we had were our hiking clothes! Made for a short hiking day along the Alta via 2-- semi rest day.
The host informed us with pictures and videos how can we find the keys. This was very useful. The location of the hotel is perfect. Even though this was a studio apartment, the place was enough for 2 person.
We cooked a lot, and for us the kitchen was well-equipped.
Nice small family run hotel located in a picturesque little village between green mountains. Rooms were perfectly clean with a lot of space, fully equipped. The breakfast was very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful lake 10 minutes drive.
Very clean hotel, spacious rooms, good homemade meals and very pleasant staff.
Sometimes a little far from some hikes but with so many positive aspects, we still think this hotel is a safe choice! We highly recommend this place.
Absolutely outstanding! if you want to experience an rare old school family run historical hotel you should go out of your way to stay here. Really a special place. Right between Sella Ronda/Alta Badia and Marmolada.
All think in the hotel is perfect, the location, the room, the staff is very very niceful and helpful the service is perfect, the hotel is very clean and the hotel have restaurante is very deliciouse
Excellent breakfast, I loved the fruit option, which I usually miss in hotel breakfasts. A very cozy common room with couches and a fireplace. The owners' lovely doggo. A lot of parking space.
I loved this hotel - the owner was so nice and accommodating. He allowed us to use the outside yard and hang our hiking clothes on the clothesline to dry. His dog was also super nice!
