Great location, across the street from the ferry terminal to the islands. We had 3 balconies off our room all having amazing views. Close to shopping and restaurants. Our breakfast was included and was very good. The owners were very accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage and looked after getting us a taxi. Great value !!

Old traditional building but in perfect condition…. Parking for my motorcycle catered for, breakfast hostess was charming and amusing… balcony view was lovely, if only I had the weather to sit out there and enjoy it…
It is a quiet residantial area. You can enjoy and relax or either reach Milano in 1 hour time, or lovely Varese in half an hour.
Special tip: Varese is a small town with some sights of the romans and sights from the 15th and 18th century. The city center offers a great variety of restaurants and shopping opportunities.

Amazing location and relaxing atmosphere. We were able to use the pool even after check out, Amazing pool and very clean! And we had lunch there before leaving. Nice view and we relaxed so much! I totally advice this place to couples who want to enjoy a few days in the nature! Staff is nice too and they have a restaurant for dinner with a view!
We had the room with hot tub, which was just under the roof. That made it very cosy, and also quiet. Thanks to the air con it was also nice and cool. The restaurant / breakfast area had a lovely view, there were plenty of other places to sit and enjoy the view and the pool area was nice and clean. The staff were exceptional, helping us arrange things (e.g. boat rental only 5 minutes walk from the hotel). The location is lovely, right on the lake, with a couple of bars / restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away.
The room was very pleasant, clean, and tastefully designed, with a cozy feeling. The balcony provided a direct view over the hotel's swimming pool and terrace/restaurant, as well as the lake Maggiore. The bathroom was as well very large, fitted with everything one would need.
The breakfast was plentiful, with a good variety of local cheese and ham, milk, jams, etc. It lacked a bit in terms of warm food options, but it's a minor detail.
Perfect - from the room itself, very tastefully decorated with a view over the gardens to the lake itself, to the warm welcome from the team in the hotel and restaurant, to the memorable and creative dining experience in an atmosphere that manages to perfectly balance a sophisticated dining experience with a relaxing atmosphere. No faults - we will be back !
Very comfortable apartment with good views, lovely balcony, air conditioning, hotel touches like breakfast snacks and shower gel, everything spotless, great location walking distance to beach and coffee/bar/restaurants, functional lobby area in the downstairs apartment, deck chairs to enjoy. Overall this apartment exceeded expectations.
Very spacious room and very clean. The view from the room in the garden was wonderful. The owners were so nice and always there to help with whatever I needed. Close to the Ranco center, 10 minutes walking. Breakfast was fresh and prepared with care. Room had a relaxing bathtub and additionally a shower which was very nice.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Belvedere hotel. The staff was extremely kind, the bedroom was quite spacious and very clean and the view is magnificent. Both the breakfast and the meals at the restaurant were excellent, I highly recommend and will return.
This is a beautiful location with a vine covered terrace looking at the lake to enjoy a lavish breakfast or dinner. I believe the hotel has been family owned since 1850 and the current family and staff were both welcoming and gracious throughout our stay!
Ranco is a small town with not much happening. It has a laid back feeling. We did find a fabulous place called “ Rocca di Angera” nearby which was a fabulous medieval fortress and gardens with an amazing toy museum. Well worth the visit.
We loved its lovely quite location close enough to the action but peacefully apart. We loved the gracious owners and they attentive staff. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant.
